Boudin has amazing food and I love coming here whenever I’m in the area; however, after the bad experience today I will no longer be coming back. There is a pet store in the same shopping center and whenever I need to pick something up for my puppy we head over to Boudin to grab some food to go. I have brought her with me every single time, she’s a small chihuahua mix so I always carry her in a carrier bag. It had never been a problem until today. I walked in as usual with her in my bag and a server (Caucasian man with glasses and curly hair in a ponytail) informed me only service dogs were allowed in the restaurant. I asked if I could just get my food to go as always and he just gave me a dirty look and said nothing. This had never been a problem before and I was appalled by his lack of respect and simply told him never mind thank you. I understand and respect restaurant’s rules, I would never stay and eat with my dog inside the restaurant. We always pick up our food to go. If he had simply said no sorry or any other respectful response I would have happily left.

I ordered a Chili in Bread bowl and a Clam Chowder Bread bowl for take out online. When I got home and looked in the bag, it was just paper bowls with our soup with 2 sets of 2 slices of stale bread. The soup was okay but we got it mainly for the bread bowl so this was disappointing and we needed to go get another dinner.

The sandwiches were so good and I loved the vibes. Unfortunately my sourdough bread from the turtle was cute, but def has been out and was stale so I didn’t really get to enjoy it. Otherwise, super yummy!

Clean and quick . Tasty soup I had butternut squash soup that had delicious cranberries and nuts as a topping. I also had a delicious grilled cheese sandwich that was brie and apple . Holy smokes quite the sandwich. Definitely having it again. Good solid food . Price was not bad for what we had.

Flavors are pretty consistently great, but i know their corporate office just sends that poor manager to fix broken stores and doesn't give them enough pay, time, or training. Our orders consistently have at least one wrong thing, last time we got salads, they had like 1tsp of dressing on the side for a to-go order. I see the staff trying their best, doing well, but stuff gets missed. The manager was trying to juggle training and quality checking the orders. He'd deliver food directly to the tables, and remember who ordered what. I'll always come back because I love this place, but man, that corporate model needs work. Support your managers and employees better!!!

My food is NEVER ready on time. It has gotten to the point where I will wait an extra 10 to 15 minutes after the pickup says its ready before I will leave to go get my order to ensure that I am not standing in the store waiting after I arrive. I did this again today and as I arrived I stood in the store waiting for my entire 10 minute break (I work next door). I followed my same process and waited 10 extra minutes after the order said it was ready for pickup.. but it wasnt actually ready when I arrived. I stood there waiting for a couple minutes thinking maybe they just needed to out it in a bag... no they didnt even make my order yet (it was a burrito) and YET the pickup said it was ready!!! None of the workers have any sense of urgency when there are customers standing in front of them waiting. I was met with a shoulder shrug when I asked to check on my order. Horrible service. Service takes way too long and food is NEVER ready when you arrive. Extremely inconvenient online ordering process.
