Great coffee, decent food and a good vibe. The only downside is the lighting. It's rather harsh and is the only thing holding me back from coming back regularly.

Vegetarian options: Standard cafe vegetarian options (pastries, veggie egg options and veggie sandwiches.) Nothing amazing, but still plenty of options.

I tried the Banana Oat Latte for the first time, and it was excellent! I also ordered the avocado toast, which was not only delicious but visually stunning as well. The café itself has a spacious and inviting atmosphere, perfect for working on a computer or catching up with friends. Overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommend!

Cool place, very large for a cafe. I arrived before 7am and the kitchen wasn't open yet so I could not get my first menu choice, but at least there was a prepared breakfast sandwich they could heat up for me.

It was tricky for me to find. It's in the alley behind L street, not facing L. Once I got there it was obvious, of course.

This is my second time in a couple of years going to Old Soul and it didn't disappoint. I had the vanilla turmeric latte, bursting with flavor! It wasn't too sweet, it was well balanced with an earthy undertone.
The best part is the other featured latte flavors were really delicious as well (from what I gathered by the other patrons suggesting the flavors to me). The barista there prepares the drink in front of you (at the counter) and it's really cool to see. The atmosphere is conducive to working on something on your laptop or just hanging out for the morning..

Would have been great if my coffee wasn’t filled with sour milk/half&half right before my flight.

There's two employees busy they pretend to not have names though from a brand like this I expect the best. Bike shop nearby! Kinda trashy and lying because smiles! I told friends and if ur not too happy would that be ok? I guess they are mysterious.

Parking: Not bad. Public?

Absolutely the best. We had the Old Soul 40 acres cater a brunch on Saturday. We had the quiche, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, house made granola and three salads. Our guests were wow’d by everything. Particularly the quiche and the salads - the Cesar was tagged as BEST EVER by our son in law and he would be a good judge. The presentation was perfect, Becca delivered and picked up everything when we were ready. Luis, I so appreciate your help on this. It was an important event and everything was perfect!

Vegetarian options: They put the pepperoni on the side for the chopped salad, the quiches were labeled vegetarian. Delicious

The best coffee roaster in Sacramento, maybe the world. Excellent varieties of coffees that are flavorful and roasted on sight. Located in a semi hidden location that gives the atmosphere a calm countenance. Continuously changing display of local art keeps the open 19th century warehouse esthetic comfortable. All baked goods are produced on site and the breakfast offerings are delicious and fresh. Watch out for the ghost that lives in the bathroom mirror as he will try to get your help, which will result in you being tucked into its pocket dimension for all eternity. It is a shared bathroom though so I feel like it cannot be heald against the establishment. Five stars.

Today marked my inaugural visit to the establishment. Situated conveniently near my workplace at the Department of Technology, I was greeted upon arrival by a gentleman depicted in one of the photographs. His polite and cheerful demeanor set a welcoming tone as we engaged in small talk and exchanged pleasantries. Throughout our interaction, he appeared genuinely content. The coffee surpassed my expectations, although I lamented the absence of 2% or non-fat milk options; instead, they offered whole milk, oat milk, or almond milk. The establishment also boasted an impressive selection of food options, and I noted the aroma of freshly roasted beans in the air. Regrettably, my schedule today was tight, leaving me unable to fully explore all they had to offer. Nonetheless, I look forward to returning to indulge in their other offerings. Discovering such a hidden gem in close proximity to my workplace was a delightful surprise, albeit one that may lead to some indulgent spending in the future!

good mocha, lofty cafe hidden far from the downtown crowd even on busy weekends. It takes only 1 staffer to ruin or enchant the experience.
