We enjoyed our visit to Brickland for brunch. They had a nice selection of dishes and drinks. Our party tried a little bit of everything and thought it was good. We recommend the chicken and waffles and the Caesar salad.

Eclectic? A hip modern American bistro? Gourmet plated Afghani food? Yes!
It's all gourmet plated. The sliders were excellent according to my carnivorous companion.
I ordered two of the vegetarian appetizers from the Afghanistan starters. They were really good but I didn't feel like 25 dollars for a potato roast entree was going to feel like a good value.
The Mediterranean 'flatbread' pizza thing was awful. The bread part was really good but the cheese was rubbery and there was too much cheese. The olives were low quality and there were too many so the pizza mostly tasted like olives from a can. With better olives or no olives and less or better cheese this pizza could be really good
Vegetarian options: The veg entrees are expensive for what they are

We really enjoyed our dining experience! Family owned and the son Joseph was our food server...very personable and his mother (owner) also visited our table to gauge our experience and if we liked the food...thumbs 👍!!

Very nice atmosphere, good drinks, but the food was just okay. If friends were to invite me back I would go for a drink but probably eat a full meal before I headed over. Two *small* appetizers and a few drinks nearly $85
The burger is very good, came in and got it to go and was out of there in 15 minutes! I would recommend for dinning in or pick up!
The fries also were very good

This is my 3rd time here. I usually make it for a late lunch (served till 3).
I'm a bar sitter and they've moved the bar to the back so it's much quieter and usually pretty empty at that time.
Had another chicken sandwich this time. White the components were fresh and good, the construction was of and it was hard to hold it together. The chicken was once again unseasoned unfortunately. The fries, however, are some of the best in town. The staff are nice and it's a pretty little place.
I'll keep giving it a shot.

My wife and I decided to try this place on a whim and it was soooo good! I had the biscuits and gravy and can't believe how good they were. Next level for sure! My wife had the Fall Flatbread and it was super good too! Omg, I can't wait to come back.

A mix of afghan European and American cuisine, this restaurant would be be described as fantastic, with a laid back style and a staff that goes above and beyond, and food so good you end up sharing all the different flavors with those you choose to dine with, this place absolutely knocked my socks off.
Our server Tawnee was a gem, and gave recommendations both on and off menu to really complete the experience.
The staff went so far as to help wrap up a gift for the birthday boy for a friend who otherwise would be handing off a gift in a bezos box, and include some flair to dress it up.
If you take nothing else from this review, try the prosciutto flat bread, and pair it with either the pear martini, or the brickyard old fashion. Or better yet, ask Tawnee what she suggests.

We dropped in for lunch for our first time.
Our waiter was friendly and helpful with the menu. Lots of great choices and he gave good advice. I had the Wagu burger and Cher had the Mediterranean Flatbread. The flat bread was excellent, really tasty and a meal and a half. The burger was THE BEST BURGER I have ever had. Now I’m not a young man so we’re talking out of a sea of burgers, this THE ONE ! If you are a burger fan, you are required to come in here and experience it for yourself. The restaurant was enlarged in a remodel that now includes a beautiful bar and seating area around it. This is a great place with a lot to be happy with. We will absolutely come back and bring our Posse. Thank you !

Glad we had reservations for a Saturday night! We showed up a little early and the place was packed. Parking is in the lot behind the restaurant which is great due to how busy it gets and the street parking can get tight. Inside is simple contemporary with that comfortable 'brick' feel since it IS "Brickland". The room is loud and where we were seated in the thoroughfare was a bit buzzy so be prepared to talk loud to your fellow diners. The hosts (owners) were very nice and noticeable as they toured the floor checking on things throughout the evening. There is also a large bar area in the back of the dining area.
Brickland is a combo Afghan, pizza/pasta and American faire restaurant. We of course choose to enjoy the food of the owners, and went with Afghan.
Started with the house soup. Good and rich, but just needed a little something else to give it that extra kick of flavor.
Next we had the Kadoo Bolani - Crispy grilled philo dough with butternut squash and spices. These were pretty good
For the main course we both had the Kabuli Palow - "Loaded" basmati rice with beef shoulder cuts and sauteed cauliflower. This dish was excellent on all points. Very good.
What didn't go right was that we sat waiting for someone to come to our table for quite a while. I was reaching that 'twitchy' mode just before the server finally came over to greet us. I ordered a cocktail, and we decided that we had better get the appetizer order in now... Our orders were placed, and the food did come out as it all should have. The appetizer plates were not cleared before the person serving the main courses came out, which made it super awkward to negotiate all these plates on a tiny 2 top table. And our server never did come back to check on us until we were completely finished with our meals and waiting for the check.
Overall, it was a 'good' evening, but there certainly are some missteps that could have been avoided.
