The food was delicious!! I had the New York Steak and it was perfect with the most delicious sauce and mashed potatoes! My partner had the Octopus and he was pleasantly surprised how good it was..cooked perfectly. We also had fried eggplant and beet salad for an appetizer, it was all delicious. It was Valentines Day dinner so it was a limited menu, I am really looking forward to coming back and trying some of the Afghan fusion dishes which were missing from today's menu. Our server Imani was great too, very attentive and sweet.Very satisfied with our first visit!

Could have more parking spaces but that's what they have. Service was very very good. Friendly bartender and waitress at our table. Stingy on the potatoes. I can't remember being service such a small portion of breakfast potatoes. They WERE yummy. Chicken sausage very good. Scrambled egg good as well. Sourdough toast was toasted on one side only, making it kind of limp. Asked for a side of hollandaise sauce and what a mess. Hard, cold bland. My friend had eggs Benedict and his hollandaise sauce was very nice. I must have upset someone and got the very crappy hollandaise sauce. Bottom line: would go back again.

Second time here. First was as part of a big group activity. Service and food were great at that time. Came back for a date night. Service was still high quality. Cocktails were good. Food was not as good as first time I visited but still good. Ambience is great. Perhaps next time, we will go eat at the bar, which often is a better experience for us. Bar is fully stocked with spirits and wines. There is also a good beer selection. Overall, good spot.

The Afghan additions to the menu are delicious! I highly recommend the dumpling appetizer and the beef entree. So nice to have some new cuisine in East Sac with a lovely ambience. They were also very accommodating with our toddler. We will be back.

I really want to like this place. I might go back and give it a second chance. The parking was nice behind the building. The atmosphere was esthetically pleasant. The service was ehh they were out of a lot of items behind the bar. However someone did call in sick. Food was bland. I ordered the waygu sliders and shareda fish and chips. I will go back ....hoping this was just a bad night.

This East Sac gem is fantastic! A warm family friendly environment with a bar that offers some adult conversation and great drinks.I got to meet the owners and they instantly treated me like an old friend. The flatbread & burgers are a stand out win and the bartenders can make you anything you can dream up!

Delicious food. We loved the flavors of the Afghan food they prepared - both the Mantu and the Samosa were so flavorful. Also had the fish tacos which were tasty!Wonderful family working together in this restaurant- they all took pride in the restaurant and served us so graciously.

Wow, how things can quickly change for the better!! When we originally visited Brickland, we were quite frankly - disappointed with a limited menu of choices. Well, management has heard the diners, and they have re-vamped their eatery's choices - they now offer a wide selection of appealing and delicious meals. I was able to order three smaller items: Pakora -a potato dish w/taziki and a green chutney dip, and a side of cauliflower - prepared in a light curry sauce with garbanzo beans and a third item - a lentil soup that was light and tasty- all three items were yummy and I would order again. My two eating buddies ordered their hamburgers with shoestring fries - the large order of fries were yummy and disappeared quickly, the hamburgers were good and some came home. My dessert of creme-brulee was top shelf!I will be back to try out their charcuterie, or maybe the double cut porkchops or maybe rigatoni or beet salad or some Afghan specialties, or maybe meatballs. I can't wait to go back!!!Oh, I forgot to mention the server - friendly, there but not there, and a pleasant to have around.

Very tasty food. The brunch burger was very good, and the fries were exceptional. Good service (not great, given there were very few customers and we waited a bit, but attentive when present and fun) and a beautiful space.
