Buckhorn BBQ + Grill

This was my first and last visit to Buckhorn BBQ. I ordered the 1/2 ribs with onion rings and mashed potatoes. The onion rings and mashed potatoes were very good. The ribs were very sub par I have had ribs all over the Sacramento area S. Carolina, Chicago, and Florida the ribs would rank the lowest of all. They were tough, under cooked and nearly tasteless. For the money I was charge they could have at least taken time to removed the membrane from the inside.

Great food. Tequila selection is not so great. I would love to see, Herredura Añejo not the ultra añejo. If you had this tequila I would frequent your establishment more often. The Corallejo Extra Anejo is a great one as well

Loved everything about Buckhorn BBQ.

The food was great.

The staff were helpful.

Location was easy to find and easy parking on a Friday afternoon.

My only gripe is I hate ordering THEN finding a table.

I am mobility challenged. It just makes everything a chore.

Ordered the Roadhouse Buck Tri-tip Sandwich ... had more toppings than meat, little disappointed. However Tri-tip Buck without the crispy onions much better. The broccoli side was also very good.

This is the place I celebrated my Birthday today, and its Happy Hour drink menu is to die for! Get yourself the App so you’re eligible for your Birthday as well as purchase points. I found a new favorite of Old Fashioned cocktail and, definitely I will be back for more. Thank you Buckhorn for a nice afternoon.

5 of us did a motorcycle ride up here from Oakland for lunch. walked in ordered, within 20 mins, our food was coming out to our table. Food and service were excellent.
As well as fair pricing for the amount of food we had. All the staff we had contact with were very welcoming too. We will definitely be back here again.

Great food and great location and atmosphere. Horrible service when getting to go orders or curbside. My name was misspelled to a not so nice word. I was hung up on in the middle of placing my order. Someone needs to be fired please hire kinder people and fire people when they are not working out. Now I can’t even pick up my lunch here because the service even though it’s right on my way to work.

The test of a good barbecue – the real thing — is that it has to taste good even when eaten with no sauce at all. The barbecue here passes that test. Service is prompt and courteous. Only downside is that it has a bunch of TVs showing sports all the time. I don’t normally eat in a place that has TVs on, and in fact I usually just turn around and walk out. But the aroma of the barbecue was so good when I walked in that I decided to go ahead and eat here. I’m glad I did. I sure wish it was quieter, but I’ll probably still come back because the barbecue is truly excellent. Good place for families, by the way. Kids making a racket don’t even register over the ambient noise from Conversations, kitchen clatter, the TV, and the radio that is also always on.
