Buckhorn BBQ + Grill

The buckhorn located on Howe avenue, does get a lot of business. But in my opinio I went there today, I ordered some burnt ends burnt ends were tasty but my problem is the quantity for almost $12 it was ridiculous what they put on my plate such a small amount. I feel like I have been robbed. Maybe it's just time for me to go out of my way too another buckhorn. For $12 you get a nice serving of burnt ends. This looks like a child's place. Too bad I can't add a picture to show you what I'm talking about oh but I can go over to Yelp and do it see you there.

worst time ever to come waited an hr to be serve, love the food dont get me wrong always drive farder to eat specifically at this location but today was totally disappointing after waiting 1hr to eat i found half way on my burger a hair a nasty hair i didnt get a replacement or was offered something else or even a refund no nothing and i told an employee but they could careless just careful when you eat here !!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this BBQ! I ordered through Uber & had it delivered! The Tri-tip was fantastic along with the sides! Everything was packed nicely too!

This location has not been the best lately. The last 3 times we have been, today our food was very cold. It was sitting on the counter all by itself lonesome for about 10/15 min before we got it. Come on kids let’s get going… it’s just no one wants to eat cold food.

I ordered through Doordash. Dasher was excellent and delivered quickly. The food however was horrible. I did not get the meat portions as advertised. My tri-tip was dry and the pulled pork was burnt black both very small portions. I was missing my onion ring side. The mac was old and dry, cheese literally crusty on top. My sandwich was missing all toppings including add on cheese and caramelized onion which cost extra. Cornbread was old and stale. I paid around $70 for this meal and I am very disappointed. I will never order here again.

The food here is great - and doesn’t break the bank. I tell you what - the staff is so fantastic! They’re really trying to make sure their customers have a great experience. Bar staff also works very hard. I’ve been coming here for years and they always deliver! Also - they offer a military discount.

This was my first and last visit to Buckhorn BBQ. I ordered the 1/2 ribs with onion rings and mashed potatoes. The onion rings and mashed potatoes were very good. The ribs were very sub par I have had ribs all over the Sacramento area S. Carolina, Chicago, and Florida the ribs would rank the lowest of all. They were tough, under cooked and nearly tasteless. For the money I was charge they could have at least taken time to removed the membrane from the inside.
