The food was yummy, the service was friendly, and the prices were almost too reasonable. I got a basic breakfast with two over-medium eggs, bacon, potatoes, and subbed a waffle instead of a bread. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the waffle was sweet, fluffy, tasted wonderful, and looked very pretty on the plate. They were pretty busy and the server/hostess was working very hard. I would say having an extra person to help out might be worth the extra cost, but I also know that good help is hard to find.I will definitely return. I would like to try a burger or sandwich next time.

A few weeks ago, my family and I went to this wonderful place and it was great. I've heard many good things about Butt3rmilk Cafe and I was finally able to try it myself. First off, the service was awesome. The woman who served us was sweet and wanted to make sure we had the best time possible. Second, the food was bomb! Everything was served in large portions and the house potatoes were chef's kiss! The cafe felt cozy and comfortable and everything was perfect. I would give this place a 30 out of 5 if I could, but I can't, so I give a huge recommendation. Try it, you might like it (that's a lie, you most likely will like it).

Excellent food,service and overall experience. I tried their breakfast burrito and my choice of meat was the apple smoked chicken, oh boy best decision ever. It was soo good! The burrito is massive and super filling, well worth the money! Everything smelled amazing and cooked to perfection. They don't specialize in coffee drinks I believe they only do regular roasts like black roast coffee nothing like mochas or espressos so mainly just food and tea. Overall experience was 10/10, well done.

My boyfriend and I decided to try a new breakfast joint. Butt3rmilk Cafe is absolutely cute. The staff was extremely friendly. We went around 9:30 on a Saturday and we did not have to wait for a table. There is. Long wait to to get the food but it’s worth the wait.
We waited 50 minutes for our to come out but once we got our food, we were not disappointed! Time flew by but I guess that’s what happens when you go with the right people LOL. Coming again!

The food was good but 1 hour and 35 minutes waiting for our food was horrible! We ordered 3 plates, after 50 minutes waiting they let us know they were out of one of the plates we ordered and after an hour and 10 minutes they come and ask what cheese do we want on our plate. I asked how much longer she said 10 minutes, it was another 25 actually. No apology until I asked why the wait was so long if they weren’t even busy or packed. She said they had online orders and a small kitchen! I let her know she should have let us know the wait would be so long. I am a server and know at times it’s out of your hands but this was ridiculous! The table next to us was there 15 minutes before us and got there food at the same time. 1 hour and 35 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and an omelette! Not even a discount or something to make up for it! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!

Great place. Sloid menu with tons of standard breakfast items and some surprises. I went with the Chicken and Waffles and was not disappointed. The breading was light, and flakier than your standard southern fried chicken. Not quite tempura like, but with something reminiscent of it-without being wierd :-). I got the fruit cup instead of potatoes - you know to be healthy, and it was really good (ripe and lots of different kinds). I'll hit this place every time I'm going through Sac in the morning.
