Cafe Bernardo at Pavilions

I usually go to the midtown/downtown locations which I love for several years now. However, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I visit the pavillions I’m treated like I’m not supposed to be there. The workers Always look so bothered and annoyed to help. No one ever greets or smiles or thanks and literalllyyyyy alwayssssss forget the ranch which is crazy cus the ranch is a WHOLE SIDE here which is obviously not free. Unfortunately moved closer to this location but I’ll continue going to downtown cus I’ve absolutely never had a positive experience here (mind you, I get TAKE OUT) ?????

This place is terrible! Firstly and upon arrival for lunch, protocol dictates that we customers take a number to our table and are then asked how much we're going to tip. Excuse me, but we tip after good service is rendered! Secondly, my friend and I ordered Thai Chicken Salad - not a trace of chicken in either one. We won't be back!

Our party of five had a wide range of dinners included salad three-ways, pizzettas, burger burger and salmon dinner. All were excellent and served by an outstanding server.

A great place for Sunday brunch. The pancakes are to die for. Fluffy and not dry. Mimosas and othe drinks are avaialble from the bar. The lunch menu is tasty too. Not very crowded. The veranda is available on sunny days. Very trendy spot and kid friendly. Wait staff is superb. No long waits for a table.

I had a great experience at Café Bernardo. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly and attentive when they did come around. The highlight of my visit was the food—absolutely amazing! I had the grilled salmon, and it was cooked to perfection, full of flavor. Despite the slower service, the quality of the food made it totally worth it. I’ll definitely be back!

Always reliably tasty. The Salmom "BLT" is a fave, as is the Cubano, the Thai Noodle Salad, and the salad sampler with up to 3 choices. It can be noisy. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Vegetarian options: Plenty - black bean burger and a number of salads.

Wow. Bernardo's has gone downhill. My friend's chicken sandwich had a very minimal amount of chicken. She asked the server if she could possibly get more chicken and this person could've cared less. She basically said that's all you get and didn't offer to fix the situation and seemed very disinterested. We were sitting outside at a table and nobody came by to clear plates or offer water. When we left, we noticed three tables had not been cleared and lots of plates of food were sitting on each table. When you order food at the cash register, they ask you to put in a tip. We won't be putting a tip in until we leave next time. How can they ask for a tip when they haven't performed a service yet? We've always been huge Cafe Bernardo fans, but may have to switch to another restaurant. Very disappointing.

Had the burger - it was great. Took home a chocolate-bottom muffin, and it was too dry. My wife’s carrot cake was excellent.

I mainly enjoy the ambience of this place but the food is also delicious. We ordered the Habanero Burger and fries and it was delicious. The only comment I do have is that it's not really spicy and the habanero wasn't a strong flavor.

Nice place to go for lunch. They have a nice menu. The choices are many to choose from. It's down to what you feel like eating.

Parking: Due to the restaurant being situated in a shopping center. Finding a parking spot can be challenging.

I had a simple brunch of pancakes and bacon, very good. The restaurant was extremely busy, which is why I put 3 stars for the service. I don't blame the restaurant for this it's just one of those things. Brunch on a Saturday morning at 10 am.
