Quality food and good service. Very nice dog friendly patio but the inside is lackluster with zero ambience.

The food here is ok but its constantly the same. They dont have appetizers or any specials for dinner at all. The menu is plain. The drinks are good but very expensive. The staff is very weak & lazy. You can sit in the bar and it always takes atleast 15 min before anybody talks to you. I stopped going altogether now. I will say their carrot cake is the best I have ever had. But I only order my cake to GO! It cost me $60 for a burger & 2 drinks. 😳 Won't go there anymore.

I've eaten at Cafe Bernardo for lunch/dinner. But, this was my first time for breakfast and they still exceedy expectations . . . Food, service, and staff were AWESOME!!! Thanks for the yummy food, spectacular coffee, and lovely ambiance . . . the company was not too shabby either! 😜

Place is relaxed and quiet which is perfect. Staff were attentive.

Avocado toast and french toast were good. Coffee should have been left unsweetened, too sweet. Fettuccini bolognese was too salty. Carrot cake is moist and delish as always.

I can’t say enough good things about Cafe Bernardo! It is my favorite place to eat it in sac! I’ve tried most of their breakfast and brunch menu and every single thing I tried is delicious! My absolute favorite is the kimchi fried rice! It’s the one thing I always want to order because it’s so so delicious and I definitely recommend it. Atmosphere is very nice and service is good. I go there practically every Sunday and I have never been disappointed. Overall I enjoy going to Cafe Bernardo A LOT!

If I could give more stars, I absolutely would because the service atmosphere and food is always outstanding and beyond expectations I come here with my mom and we are always leaving impressed and happy this time was especially wonderful we left with smiles ear to ear due to the service of Michael (bartender), Lexi and Jorge I know we will be back soon! Thank you cafe Bernardo’s and wonderful staff!
