I planned to take my husband to breakfast, but we missed the breakfast menu by a few minutes (1 pm). I was disappointed as I really wanted eggs and pancakes, but my food was delicious! I ordered the stir-fry as it was recommended by our waitress and a margarita. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich, and he said it was an 8 out of 10. We sat outside as it was a really beautiful day. I can tell Cafe Bernardo is going to be one of my favorite places to eat in Sacramento.

So we went here with the family nice place we got right in. The food was so good everything loved their food. The service on the other hand was not so good. They forgot my wife's cream in her coffee and also forgot to bring our craft of mimosas. We had to ask for it. The food was so good which made it better. Stop by give it a try hope your service is better! Cheers

I came here after my pure barre team event and it was packed! My team got breakfast and I ordered the avocado toast and a chai tea latte. It was standard and nothing special. The interior is quaint and aesthetic. Service was nice and the tables were cleared quickly after people left. We grabbed some pastries to go but they looked better than they tasted.

I've been to Cafe Bernardo twice and I absolutely love this place. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. If you're looking for a good breakfast spot in Sacramento, Cafe Bernardo is it. I ordered a breakfast scramble with potatoes. The food was cooked to perfection and my coffee was strong, which I appreciate early in the morning. Cream and sugar is available if you need it. Our server was very attentive. The environment is very inviting. The restaurant manages to create a small town feel and reminds me of a cute bed & breakfast in Wine Country. Can't wait to come back!

They don’t offer enough vegan options. Lots of vegetarian but vegan options are few and lacking in protein.

Everything is wonderful about this restaurant, the food, the service, and the ambiance and been here many times, but last night I had the most delicious meal. It must be a new dish because there are no pictures and I wish I had taken a picture to post. It was the last item in the Plates section of the menu, Vegetables and tofu over black rice with a coconut milk curry sauce. It was outstanding and going back today to have it again!

Came to Cafe Bernardo after visiting our dad at Sutter Hospital. The food and service was phenomenal. Nunu (I hope I spelled it right) served us and provided A+ customer service. If you had a bad day or just want a nice relaxing meal - come to Cafe Bernardo. Ask for Nunu and she will make you feel like family. She made our dinning experience so welcoming - her smile, positivity, and kindness showcased throughout. Would definitely come back especially because of the welcome environment.
