When I tell you this pistachio cheesecake is what it is and the flavor is satisfying, Omg! I’m trying to only eat half but I couldn’t contain it. Jeff you made it!! Please excuse the pictures, I tried to maintain composure but big back is here. Omg! I usually go to cheesecake factory but OMG! Jeff, keep doing what you do please! Can’t wait for the winter cheesecake editions.

Stodgy cheesecake. Tasty crust (!) but grainy whipped cream. Is the large amount of whipped cream to cover the divot in the middle of each $17 cake? Our strawberry was rotten. Deli case was kinda rough looking. Sorry.

I traveled from Lebanon Oregon to San Diego California just to try Jeff the chef cheesecake and he did not disappoint! I had a blueberry cheesecake and it was so creamy and full of flavor. The crust was perfect and it was definitely worth its $$$! Also the staff was so kind as I am not from San Diego and had no clue where the shop was. The GPS took me to a parking garage but the store was not in the garage lol. The sweet girl in charge of the shop went above and beyond to help me locate the shop from where I was and then she was so kind when I actually made it into the shop! All around worth every mile and $$$ to get a taste of the creamy goodness!

I placed an order on door dash not realize that I wouldn't receive it on time. So I called the number listed in the app. I was not expecting to speak with Jeff the Chef. I explained what was going on and he told me not to worry and he had all but one of the flavors at his downtown location and he would let his staff know what was going on ,so when I went to the 405 Kst.to pick up the order Raspberry chocolate, oreo cookie crunch, Pistachio,cookie dough,strawberry, lavender & honey .I received the best Customer service the young lady had such a great attitude and was very helpful. So glad my coworkers recommended? Cakes by jeff the chef and oh my goodness Frosted Animal Cookies cheese cake will always be my favorite.

I recently tried this place for the first time with my niece. The lady at the front counter was very nice and helpful. It was great having a large selection of cheesecakes to choose from. The portions are a good size, definitely shareable!

THE BEST CHEESECAKE EVER!!!!! my fiance and I LOVE Jeff’s cheesecakes, beats every cheesecake anywhere. Whenever we are in DOCO we stop by. I was craving it one day after work; my fiance and I work close by so we walked (in 90 degree weather lol) to DOCO to grab an ube and banana pudding cheesecake. So good! If you are in DOCO you have to give this place a try… if you don’t live in DOCO it’s worth the drive. People complain about the pricing i find it reasonable for what you get quality wise. 🤗.

I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I placed an order in advance for my husband’s birthday — a special gesture, since he’s currently away on a work trip and we couldn’t celebrate together. Everything was confirmed, paid for, and scheduled for delivery at 6:00 PM California time (we’re on the East Coast). At 5:58 PM, just two minutes before delivery, I received a text saying my order was cancelled. No explanation. No time to make other arrangements. This was not just an order it was meant to be a thoughtful surprise on an important day. To cancel with no notice or solution shows a complete lack of professionalism and reliability. I had chosen this bakery based on glowing reviews and recommendations, but unfortunately, I was met with disappointment and poor service when it mattered most.

Stoped by this gem after dinner at Yard House. I’ve been to this area many times and never knew Cakes By Jeff The Chef existed. Glad I found it. The cheesecake was delicious. I will definitely be back and recommend you check them out if you’re looking for a perfect size dessert.
