The food was good, service lacked attentiveness enen though they weren't busy. Staff was congregating together rather than focusing on the customers. Disappointing.

The food was excellent. Highly recommend. Everybody in our party thought their dishes were delicious. It just seemed they sort of had a couple of minor supply and service glitches. The menu online with the Shepherd's Pie and Scotch Egg are no longer on their menu. We were looking forward to both of those. They need to update the site. Nevertheless, we found alternatives and they were so good! One of us ordered a gin and tonic, but they ran out of tonic. This was around 6:00 in the evening, so I would expect them to have all the supplies for drinks and cocktails. Tonic water is not hard to stock. But the specialty cocktails they made were very tasty and satisfying. The noise level is loud, but it is a friendly atmosphere. If you don't need to have an in-depth conversation, this is perfectly fine and fun! I recommend if you want a casual place with upscale food. We ate there before going to a show at the performing arts center and it's really close--a block away. I encourage them to put the Shepherds Pie back on the menu. The description looks so good online. All in all, I do recommend.

We always enjoy the food here. Menu updates just enough to keep it interesting Servers are always polite, efficient, and pleasant.

The food was inedible! We were rushed to order without offering any help. It like being in a cafeteria but expensive. We ordered Salmon and Polenta. The polenta was cold like it just came from the fridge. The Salmon was so dry, it smelled and looks like reheated. It was glazed with a bottled Vietnamese sweet and sour sauce usually used as fried lumpia dip. Again, reheated roasted asparagus and chopped zucchini. We also ordered the Vegan Chili and Corn bread. It was way too salty! The corn bread was in the texture of a cardboard. And finally the CG Burger. We thought, how can anyone mess up a burger. We asked for medium and they brought out well done. We tried telling the waiter but no one wants to listen. We paid and left and will NEVER come back there again. We drove all the way from the Bay Area and even made reservations at this place. I did not know that the reservation was a joke. Most of the people sitting there never ordered. It is primarily a bar! Don't come here for dinner.

I ordered the Taco Salad (without meat), and Apple Pie. All of the lettuce and other vegetables in the salad were warm and limp. I took one look at it and knew I was in trouble. The Apple Pie was probably the worst I've ever had. The apples were unpeeled, diced in small pieces and raw, and the “crust” more reminiscent of a pancake. My friend had a burger and fries, and the fries were cold. Fries are so inexpensive, so serving them like that with a fresh burger is criminal. I don't like to make a fuss in restaurants, plus I had a guest, so I didn't remark about the food. I eat out at least twice a week, and can't even remember the last time I left a bad review. The only bright spot was the server, who was outstanding.

We met friends for dinner and drinks before an evening out. Most of the food was really good, but a couple of the dishes were heard to be a little bland. Overall, pretty good though. Our hostess/server Zoey was so incredibly sweet and very attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Great meal and drinks for the price. Wait staff and bartenders were friendly and fun. It was a quiet Wednesday night at the restaurant so it wasn't noisy but I could see it being loud if full...

Lunch yesterday was such a disappointment. We arrived early for our lunch reservation and we promptly seated but it went downhill from there. We ordered our meals shortly after but waited at least 35 minutes before being served. We had told our server we were attending Music Circus (10% discount was to be taken) and also asked about the surcharge to our meal. We said we'd be paying cash so not to add it to our bill. The meals, when finally delivered, were tasteless and mine was cold - it was supposed to be a warm sandwich. When we received our bill we had not been given our discounts and 2 1/2 percent added additionally. It was so late by then we decided not to argue about it but all decided we'd not be returning for another meal.

The food and service were very good, although the item we both ordered initially was not available. My only issue with the ambiance is the noise level. There are no soft surfaces to absorb some of it. I've eaten here several time though, and I will go back.

Had to move outside because the folks at the bar were so loud we couldn't hear each other across a two top! High ceiling and hard edges.

My and my husband's food was what we expected and was good. Our boys' experiences weren't the best. Their items were very bland, dry, and/or contained items we asked to be left off. We understand food is cooked fresh to order, but it took at least 45 min to get our food. They looked understaffed, but busy. We did tip good, however, even though we needed several items replaced at our table. This was a specific menu for Father's Day, so all of this is warranted.

The only option of a real meal was a burger and asked for beef and I was served the beef and lamp and the server lied and said it was beef and was horrible. I asked for a Bullet Bourbon Old Fashioned and I was criticized from the server with pink hair for asking requesting “Bullet Bourbon”. With only the four of us in the entire restaurant, it still took an hour for three burgers and a rice bowl to come out. I highly do not recommended this place.

We arrived about 10min before our reservation on Mother's Day. There were several open tables inside and several open tables outside. My parents are older and have a hard time hearing and it was already VERY loud inside so I asked if there was any chance we could get a table outside. She said “no we're fully booked”. OK, no problem, I get it but I watched two tables outside that I could see stay empty until about 45min into our meal and then one four-top was taken by 2 people and another stayed empty until we paid our bill. The table we were at was directly under the AC vent and freezing for my poor mother. They were out of salmon cakes, at 10:45 for Mother's Day which seems like really poor planning and a bummer because I knew that's what my mom would want to order. The food we did order was ok but nothing special. The service was acceptable but the server seemed uninterested in us. My mom's drink sat at the bar for about 10 min while he was at the other end of the restaurant. He set our food down and immediately turned around without asking us if we needed anything, I had to tap him on the shoulder to get a refill (I was mortified to do it! It seemed so rude but he was NOT paying attention and was refusing to check on our table). Overall a let down for Mother's Day and I'm embarrassed that I suggested it for my mom. I won't go back for anything like this but our server still got 20%.

Appetizer came out with dinner. Service seemed took a long time to get to our table and by the time the server did all food for a happy hour menu was gone

Had reservations and was seated appropriately. Waited a few minutes before we were served waters. We ordered our food, but then my wife wanted a certain drink, and the waiter went to ask the bartender, but took a while to finally tell us that the order was on its way. I ordered my burger medium rare, and after waiting 30 minutes for our food, my burger was well done. Half way through our meal, waiter came back after a long while, and my wife wanted another drink. It took about a good 15 minutes and our meal is finished before I had to ask about my wife's drink. We've been here before on a busier day, and we had better service than this. It wasn't that busy, and for service to be this slow and neglectful, my wife and I don't think we'll be returning.
