Excellent food. Prices are very good and they give you a lot. The only complaint I have is they don't offer dine in ever since COVID19 happened. They only have carry out or delivery.

Little gem tucked between Auto Parts store and Radial Tire hath restored my faith in Chinese takeout after years of disappointment across the greater Sacramento area watching the go to spots of old close or change hands convincing newer generations that bamboo eating bears somehow serve up decent authentic Chinese Food. Thank you sister for the recommendation thank you Cathay for not disappointing. Ordered Mongolian beef combo , crab cheese wonton for good measure. Large portions, fresh ingredients, veggies w snap, tender meats, not super greasy, not oily,proper seasoning, deliciously sauced , just damn good tasty Chinese food easy on the wallet and tummy. That's my experience yours may differ, I most definitely will be adding Cathay into the rotation.

Doordash order. Food was alright. The Mongolian Beef had lots of oil in the broth. Hot and Sour Soup was bland and watered down, not the typical clear your sinus and flavorful soup. The Salt and Pepper Chicken (Boneless)) was not peppery or spicy. It had 5 slices of Jalapeno placed on top. The Orange Chicken was typical flavored.

We LOVE Cathay Express!!! The customer service is amazing, they're always pleasant when I call to place an order, and they really care about providing customers with delicious Chinese food!!! Our food is always hot, fresh, and ready within minutes of ordering, not to mention their serving sizes are huge. We have been going here for several years and they never disappoint. Our whole family loves the beef broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, honey chicken, orange chicken, generals chicken, fried rice, chow mein, potstickers, crab cream cheese wontons, eggrolls, wonton soup......I could keep listing all the delicious foods we've eaten from here. I encourage you to give this family owned business a try, hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as my family does.

honestly. Don’t sleep on this seemingly hole in the wall. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Tofu and the Salt and Pepper Eggplant. Two things to know: Salt and Pepper anything is my go to and so I’ve had a lot. I’ve never had the tofu fried but still SOFT on the inside. Like a very soft tofu!! Normally a firm tofu but that was such a fun texture. My fiancée loves eggplant and WE HAVE NEVER HAD IT PREPARED LIKE THIS. it was BUTTERY AND DE-VINE!!! The flavor was so good and the batter of both was so crispy and salty and UGH! Also GREAT bang for your buck i would say their prices are super worth it. Please order those.

The food taste ok but they do need to work on phone call order they are not nice !! She did was too busy to take my order to and go on line ?? I like wtf but any way I only had 30 min for lunch and 10 min to go their get order and 10 back to work and 10 for ten minutes!! It would be lot faster if she would taken over the phone ! No where to seat and eat by the way !!
