I got the sesame chicken combo plate. It tasted as you would expect, nothing special. Pretty pricey, the total was 17 something. No napkins, silverware or fortune cookie. I'm glad I tried it but probably won't go back. Server was very nice.

5 out of 5 stars for the Hot & Sour Soup!! The aroma when I took the lid off the takeout container was amazing! The broth was just the right balance of hot and sour. Plenty of tender pork; tofu that melts in the mouth; very thinly shredded carrot; scallions; and egg that was the perfect consistency. I will definitely return here!

So this place is awesome. I’ve been a loyal customer to this Family for 30 years. Original was down on W El Camino across from Scary Bel Air. Had one in Davis too. But the kids and the grandkids of the Original brothers run this one. Secret Menu item Hunan Beef. So good but is Best in house straight off the fire with plain white rice. My daughter always hogs the General Chicken. My son the Chicken Chow Mein. Pork Chiw Fun too. We switch between HotNSour and Wonton soup. I have a friend from Oregon who swears by their Walnut prawns if he’s within 100 miles. Pot Stickers are the real deal. Ask for the “real” hot mustard if you order the egg rolls.

Had some fried rice, chow mein, egg rolls, and kung pao chicken. All dishes were bland. Kung pao chicken had no heat; however, it was not overcooked. Chow mein was ok, neither good nor bad. Egg rolls were standard. Fried rice was also mediocre and was not bad but not memorable either. The portions were large and filling. Enough for another meal. This review is for Chang’s by Raley’s.
