I went last night around 12am and the bouncer said my id was fake and it wouldn't scan before walking up he kept staring at me and I'm 21 he kept glaring at me and was trying not to give me my id, I got really frustrated after that and left, but I noticed someone else also dealt with the same problem.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The bouncers are complete assholes. Im 22 years old turning 23 December 20th, born in 01. According to your shitty bouncers I'm not. After handing one of the guys my ID, he hands it back and says "this shit is fake! You tell me the truth and I'll give it back or you can lie and I'll keep it". Mind you guys this is my drivers License, straight from the DMV. So immediately I become frustrated for being accused of being under age. This then escalated to an argument and to be honest I wasn't speaking in the nicest tone. (but who would be speaking in the nicest tone after being right out accused of foolishness) After going back and fourth for a while, the dude then gets in my face with his chest out attempting to show how "tuff" he is. At this point I realize he's drunk and most likely high off other substances, so I end up leaving. I'm highly frustrated by now and come to the conclusion that the best thing to do is get the police involved. So I walk back in and announce to him the police will be called and authorities will prove the authenticity of my ID. With no hesitation he says "okay, your ID is not a fake, but because your attitude you will not be getting in tonight". Of course this made me even more angry, because why accuse me in the first place. He then lies and says "theirs two officers in the bar now", but when I constantly asked to speak to the officers he again just basically forces me out. This night was truly a shit show, just because a drunk bouncer. It's absolutely terrible that nothing will ever be done about this and sadly this will most likely continue to happen to others. This guy needs to be fired and then put in his place ! I would not recommend going here at all! If the owner, manager, assistant manager whoever is curious I have a passport, my birth certificate, etc... anything that proves I'm of age.

!HOT HEADED THIEF PHYSICAL BULLY BOUNCER! I was on public side walk on my phone waiting for my Uber completely sober with my taser and my knife (open carry) because I just got off work, I have a guard card and a taser certification. I never entered the bar I was waiting for my Uber and chopping it up with some locals and the bouncer pulled me to the side of the Bar near ride aid and snatched my 600$ taser out of my holster as well as my knife very aggressively. (As well as threatening to tase me and yelling and getting in my face, he also said he could gut me while insulting me saying I'm soft and wouldn't do anything and kept getting in my face trying to instigate a fresh 21 year old but I didn't feed into it. first off getting gutted with the knife he stole from me is a pretty hefty threat and second off extremely unprofessional for a bouncer and third off why would a bouncer wanna fight me unprovoked? fourth and final this reflects extremely poorly on the Bar. (2 girls in a red sedan witnessed and recorded it and asked if I needed pepper spray after hearing the commotion which I denied, The bouncer said come get it tomorrow and closed the door so I threatened to call the police which made him return it which I appreciated but he handed the blade first and it cut me a little. I have never had a problem with him I don't know if he had a bad night I get he's doing his job. I'm not a small guy with a taser he's tryna keep the surrounding area safe but I believe that was completely out of line and illegal considering I was on a public sidewalk that the bouncer led me to. I have every right to defend myself and open carry my taser and open carry my fixed blade on public sidewalks. I don't have a car so I'm usually walking which is sketchy sometimes. but I do Gotta admit the bartenders pour heavy so I'll give em that. If there are any cameras on the side adjacent to rite aid I would like to request the footage. You can't just take peoples items off of them and then proceed to threaten/confiscate and cause injury. that's not how society works even if you return it and that's definitely not how adults should act, and that's not how logical security or bouncers act. I'm assuming he Doesent have a guard card considering his behavior, training is important. Regardless of my past you don't take someone's property. Childish,Ridiculous and illegal. even the owner lied about the camera which was exactly where it took place. Most likely deleted the footage naturally. Avoid this bar at all cost.

Got so lucky finding this Bar and Grill! I dont know the name of the sandwich I ordered but it was the 2nd item from the top, Had a little speice to it, lots of ham and other meat.... Bartender was very sweet, loved the local feel, we sat at the BAR

University of beer on Folsom Blvd got much better craft beers and service. SacYard, lefty's &mimosa house are few much better options in the same neighborhood,Typical east sac dive. Quiet spot, decent food with racist bartenders. Thanks to these dive bars, the property value is dirt cheap in this neighborhood. Folsom and Rodeo drive is THE hip place to be. HMU if you are interested in Airbnb/VRBO our new home on rodeo way, East Sac. It has state of art security and 2 car garage. Garage space is shared with retired WAPD decommissioned & souped up Impala LTE.Appreciate Sac Chief for the extra security detail on this place during Law Enforcement Torch Run, June 2023. We need more LE security detail around this place during such inclusive events. We might need to watch the patio space AKA "powder room". Servers also serves lines of white powder for ya nose on weekends.
