Chef Franks is an outstanding Japanese dining experience. It is the best we have found in the Sacramento metropolitan area! From their wonderful omakase meals, outstanding sashimi, and excellent fish, you can't go wrong. Tip: Try the mystery box!

Exquisite food, always excellent service. Makes us feel like we are valued and appreciated customers. The sushi is masterfully prepared and beautiful plating. The soup was a wonderful surprise, and delicious with the pumpkin and pomegranate seeds.

this is by far the best japanese restaurant and sushi in sacramento for value and quality...its nearly the same quality as sushi resto in japan, and we go to japan every 3 mos...if i miss sushi...ill go to chef frank...i like their shima aji, hamachi, uni and their superstar roll...truffle on the side...and of course their oysters!!!

This has quickly become our favorite sushi restaurant in all of Sacramento. The kind staff, excellent service, AMAZING FOOD - the value you get for the investment are so worth the price. Items not to miss: Yuzu Bombs (so refreshing!), Tuna Carpaccio and the Hokkaido Roll are our must haves. Give them a try today - you won't regret it!

Best sushi in Sacramento! Very fresh fish, great traditional, and non traditional options. Also, the staff is super helpful and friendly. Don't sit on Chef Franks.

Chef Frank Japanese Cuisine was an unforgettable dining experience because of how authentic and detail-focused everything was. The restaurant itself is simple and elegant, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed as soon as you sit down. I started with miso soup and edamame, both of which were fresh and comforting. Then I moved on to sushi, and it was some of the best I’ve had in Sacramento. The fish was incredibly fresh, sliced with precision, and served beautifully. Every roll was balanced perfectly - nothing felt overdone or overly flashy. I also ordered a sashimi platter, and each piece melted in my mouth. The rice was seasoned just right, which made a big difference in the overall experience. The staff were professional and attentive, refilling drinks without me ever having to ask. What impressed me most was how much care went into the details - from the plating to the timing of each course. It felt like Chef Frank and his team truly honor the traditions of Japanese cuisine. I left feeling both full and grateful for the experience.

WOW!!! One of the best sushi I have ever had! The service is phenomenal! We were visiting from San Diego and chose them based on the photos on open table! The hubby and I are sushi snobs and they are right up there with Michelin rated sushi spots! We ordered mostly nigiri and a rainbow roll ( best one I have ever had) Even the sake recommendation was spot on! I am Looking forward to visiting Sacramento so we can go there again!
