First time visiting and it didn’t disappoint. Service from Nas and Nitha was amazing. The cook Chris can get down in the kitchen. The food was so delicious try the breakfast sampler or the cinnamon roll French toast. New ownership and we will be back for sure!! ?

I'm a regular now. Staff are super friendly and entertaining. The owner is super cool and his food is delicious. Try the hash brown ?I visit 4-5 times a week, eat my good and enjoyable conversations with staff.So go give Chicken and Waffles a try..

Hands down, the best pancakes ever. I tried this place for the first time yesterday. Wife had the blueberry pancakes. I had chicken fried steak with pancakes.The pancakes were dense, moist, and the syrup blended right in with them. They weren't bready or spongy like most places make them. Wonderful. I live in Placerville. I will drive back down here for them.The waitress was attentive, friendly, and kept the drinks full. She was very good.The clientele were a bunch of old smartasses, and they brought you onto their conversation. My type of place.Definitely going back there.And the prices, about 20% less than normal these days.

People of color should not patronize this restaurant the waitress does everything to let you know if she does not want you there... I went there for lunch myself my husband and my grandson she was very rude our food was cold by the time we got it and we watched it sit on the counter for 15 minutes or better.... The food is mediocre they only want the locals to come there and eat the regulars..... When I pointed out to the waitress that our food was cold cold her response was get out of here just leave..... I urge people of color to stand against discrimination do not spend your money here
