I am a bit upset at this chipotle as they are charging extra for cheese? I usually get the kids meal and at every chipotle I have never been charged extra for getting a side of cheese. When I was charged an extra 2.50 I was fuming as this has never happened to me before and I basically paid 9 bucks for a kids meal, I might as well have gotten 3 tacos.

I had an absolutely horrible and frustrating experience at the Chipotle on 1601 Broadway, Sacramento, CA. While eating my burrito, I found a sharp, splinter-like object that actually punctured my lip. I was startled and disgusted, and obviously, I couldn’t eat the rest of it. When I called the restaurant at 6:44 PM to report this, the response was bafflingly indifferent and dismissive.

The person I spoke with, who claimed to be the manager, showed no concern for my injury or the situation. Instead, I was told there was "nothing they could do" unless I brought back both the item and the receipt. I had already thrown away the receipt, and in shock, reflexively discarded the splinter. Despite searching for over an hour, I couldn’t find it. Why was I even put in a position to prove this? Shouldn’t my word about a serious food safety issue carry some weight?

What’s worse, there was no apology—nothing. No acknowledgment of the injury, no reassurance about their quality standards, and no effort to make it right. When I asked for the manager’s name, he flat-out refused to give it to me.
This experience was infuriating and left me completely disillusioned. I expected at least a basic level of care and accountability, especially after being injured by their food. Instead, I got indifference and disdain.

I will never return to this location, and frankly, I don’t see why anyone would.

I like this Chipotle location! It’s super clean, and the bowl I ordered was full. The only thing they could improve is cooking the rice a bit better—it was crunchy, and I didn’t enjoy that texture. Disregard previous reviews about the staff being rude; they were actually very friendly!

The food here is usually super fresh tasting. My last experience here, the food tasted like it had been sitting there for a while and that was also when they gave me a lot more food than usual. I guess that's why.

Nice new store, nice fenced outside seating, hasn't been busy when I've visited during the lunch hour. Being on Broadway, there is the occasional homeless person rummaging through the trash cans.

Food is good...but this location has some of THE most unfriendly staff I've ever seen. Super rude, unwelcoming, and if you go in be prepared to feel like you are annoying the staff. Go to the Freeport location instead, much friendlier.

This location is a 5 min walk from my house, which is a nice break in the middle of the day. The past few visits, the staff has not been friendly, I’ve felt rushed to make decisions and I haven’t been thanked for my patronage. They look very annoyed to be working there. The food is good, but don’t dare ask for anything extra, (even if you’re paying for it) you might offend them.

Overcharged me for my burrito. Asked for a three-point burrito. I normally get this with 2 scoops of rice, two scoops of pinto beans, and a scoop of sofrita. I asked for this. They told me that that is a regular sofrita burrito while having already put the two scoops of rice on. I didn't know what to do at this point because I always get the same thing, and now they were being rude and charging me more. I would have just gotten one scoop of everything if that's what they wanted to charge me my normal price. I will not be buying from here again.

Idk who was cooking today…. But this is the first time in like forever that the steak has been properly cooked. Every chipotle I go to the steak is always burnt and chewy. Whoever was on grill today deserves something. The Guac was also nice today. A lot of the time I feel they put too much salt. Today it was just right

I was starving when I decided to stop by this store.The lane to order was giant and I went to the cashier and asked to use the restroom. To my surprise they said to me to pay my order first.I felt so embarrassed on that and I really didn’t expect the cashier be so rude when I said please I’ll order my dinner. Just let me go first.He just didn’t get attention and said he was just following the procedure.Really good to know that procedure and It’s will help me to choose a better and friendly place next time.

What a terrible place to visit for lunch. The attitude of employees is a big "**** You" to customers. These folks need to be reminded that they are there for the customers. Walked in for lunch from work, dressed in dress shirt and suit. Needed to use the bathroom because of the pressing biological need, was refused access by the staff. I was told you need to buy something before they will give a code to the door to the bathroom, I told them I am having lunch here, I am, I will be buying food, but first I needed to use the facilities first and then wash my hands, this was followed by brash words from the staff on the registers, and their expressed full-on disregard to my needs, buy something first! ... I went next door to Noah's Bagels where the girl at the cash register went out of her way to help me. DON'T GO TO THIS CHIPOTLE. THESE PEOPLE HATE CUSTOMERS.
