Some of the best breakfast burritos in town! Their online takeout menu allows for customization so tailor made burritos!!
The cabeza street tacos were awesome.
I ordered 2 lengua tacos and 1 cabeza taco and was accidentally served 3 lengua tacos. When I informed the restaurant of the mistake, they made me the cabeza taco and let me keep the extra lengua taco, no hassle. Now that's what I call customer service!
Also the tacos are delicious and fairly priced.
Great service and delicious enchiladas. Would recommend.
Best in Midtown. Always consistently delicious, always fresh, great quality food. Friendly service. Grab a Modelo while you're waiting & chill outside on their new patio seating. The super steak burrito is my favorite. Love their sauces & guac and chips. Give them a try & you'll discover your newest favorite gem. Then hop over next door to Bennies for a few, where you can play cornhole and actually smoke while enjoying your brews in their outdoor area. Five stars all the way, Chita's! Happy they are still around.
We went here b/c it was late and they had good reviews.
My burrito (bean deluxe) felt like a water balloon - mostly liquid. I really wish I could post a video of it undulating. I think by adding lots of water to everything, they think they are saving money (which is true). But it makes for an unappealing meal that you contemplate using a spoon to eat. I would have added rice, but they use chicken stock. Also a bit weird to eat a lukewarm burrito ( guac, sour cream, and cheese were cold, so beans didn't stay hot).
My husband reported that his burrito (super burrito with pollo) was just salty.
It would be nice if they included chips ( I was surprised they didn't) as it would cost them 0.25c , but give some texture to a very mushy meal.
The salsas were quite good though.
Hey i love this place, but uber eats doesn’t let me get super nachos with chicken. Door dash will and I don’t want to use them anymore. Any chance y'all can add chicken to the super nachos selections.
I’ll order more from here if you do Thanks!
Our go-to for breakfast burritos
I grew up in the Stockton/Manteca area and for the last 15 years of living in Sacramento I cannot find any Mexican food comparable. Until today ! Extremely authentic and very reasonably priced. I ordered the wet burrito with green sauce and the spicy pork adobada. It was fantastic and very filling. I will be back for sure now that I found some authentic Mexican food! The only one in Sacramento so far!
Great food, great staff, great prices. Don't really have much more to add other than try the Chita's carnitas fries (unless you can't eat pork, but the other meats are pretty great, too).

This is some of the best Mexican food I've had in Sacramento. It's a small family-owned restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine
Great spot for quick, good Mexican food! Tacos are great, and their salsa selection is very good!
A small hole in the wall little restaurant. Food is authentic and excellent along with the service.
Insane asada fries and California burritos. Literally to die for.
Open late which is nice
