PAY ATTENTION TO THE PEOPLE MAKING YOUR DESSERT BEEN COMING HERE SINCE IT OPENED BUR TODAY WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AND LACK CLEANLINESS AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I Took my wife and kids in here to order some drinks and a dessert. However the girls making the dessert decided to put gloves on and touch everything including allowing the gloves to fall on the ground and proceed to laugh, pick them back up put them on and use the gloves to keep making the dessert. When my wife walked up to say something they walked it in the back and came back laughing as if they did something. This is a big deal and I was very disappointed that I had just spent over $85 and this was the service I got. Instead of causing a scene we just left. But I do expect to be calling management tomorrow and/or meeting someone who can fix this. And please don’t respond with a unprofessional message like I see on other reviews saying you investigated this and some lame excuse to save face because I have absolutely no reason to spend time writing all this for a lie.

Horrible service and serious hygiene concerns. Employees were on their phones, laughing and whispering while preparing food. They touched their phones and then handled crepes with the same gloves. One glove was dropped on the floor, put back on, and used to touch food. Customers who arrived after me were served first, and there was unprofessional behavior and laughing throughout. I did not eat the food and will be contacting management.

I thought this was a typical kind of chocolate shop when I went in. I expected to see a bunch of chocolate covered fruit etc...
But to my delight it was not. I was excited to try middle eastern style desserts and a Dubia chocolate bar. All of which was delicious. I love that they have a sample platter and yummy tea and coffee too.

Dubai strawberry cup is so good I could eat 10 of them 😍

We ordered a banana shake, which was horrible. It had no flavor. We also ordered a mango smoothie which was mediocre, nothing great. We also had the $7.99 Strawberry Dubai chocolate cup, super small, not worth the money. And a scoop of strawberry ice cream with marshmallows, which the marshmallows tasted really old. They are very overpriced for the quality/quantity/flavor of the food that we got. The person who was taking our order did not explain anything to us on how we order the items. I had to ask quite a few questions, and I also let her know that it was our first time there. Will not return.

They had a beautiful display of their chocolate covered treats. I ordered a chocolate covered strawberry with white chocolate drizzle- the only one left in the display. We also order a peanut butter bite covered in chocolate.

This girl hands us the box AFTER we paid and gives us a strawberry and peanut butter bite that are a FRACTION of the size from the display and no white chocolate drizzle.

Felt like a total bait and switch. Got totally scammed.

Edit: In response to the reply I received in my review-

The white chocolate drizzle was referring to only the strawberry.

I’m familiar with displays being separated from the actual product sold. HOWEVER- they ALWAYS let the customers know- show them if it’s different (HUGE) size difference and state there’s no white chocolate drizzle- which there was no one else waiting to be served so she wasn’t in a rush. She looked bored and was very dry.

Hopefully your take away from this is to be upfront and honest with the customer, explain it won’t be a display piece and show the customer the item before selling. I would’ve never bought any of these if I knew it wasn’t going to be what was advertised. I’m frustrated that your reply didn’t acknowledge the poor business practice.

Unfortunately I will not be recommending or returning as the price does not match the item as advertised, and we didn’t enjoy them.

The worst customer service, and employees are extremely rude , especially female employees who think they’re the most knowledgeable, smart, and respectful. They don’t treat customers equally, and respectfully, especially the female employees they treat female customers like crap, and think that the female customers are personally owe them something which extremely unacceptable. They are located at Delta Shore Sacramento, CA. The location is not big , and they do offer indoors outdoors dining areas, but unfortunately A big ZERO to the hygiene of this location because they don’t care, and don’t take hygiene seriously. The tables, and chairs are sticky, and smell badly including all indoor, and outdoor dining areas are smelly, and dirty. The bathroom was filthy, and out of paper towels, and soap, also the sink was leaking, and still out of order. Oh boy the waiting time is almost an hour which makes you really tired. The prices are skyrocketing for not fresh , and low quality food, and drinks. In addition, they do offer different types of services like dining in , delivery, and to go. But you need to repeat yourself a couple of times in order to get the right order; otherwise you will be handed the wrong order. Yes , they are wheelchair accessible, but inside the store is not big enough to use your accommodations comfortably, also the seats are not comfortable for a physically disabled individual. The parking lot is huge , and you can park your vehicle wherever you want including the handicapped areas, but be careful there are some stray cats while parking your cars you may hurt them. My experience was very unpleasant because they female employees were rude to me, and I waited almost one hour just for cutting strawberries; however, there were 6 to 7 employees. And when finally I got my order , then there was a long hair in my cup. So I tried to call , and ask for explanation, but unfortunately no help, no apologies, and no any assistance. They are not honest, and accusing customers for fault feedbacks instead be honest, and try to help the customer by keeping your location clean, and provide great customer service, also take hygiene seriously. You need to train your employees to respect, behave appropriately it doesn’t cost them anything. I’m not giving them business again, and will never recommend them. 👎👎😣😣

Came in to get the famous Dubai chocolate and got a strawberry covered chocolate, went home and gave it to my son( the chocolate bar) and he said it tastes like refrigerator like it was sitting there for a long time already, called told them and the manager said I can take it back and get a new one(which I appreciate it just not the drive all the way over there) but anyway I did, got another one and had the same taste so I feel like they need to do better on their chocolate bars.
