I cannot get enough of this place. So far the burger and the chicken sandwich have done me right the double shots of chilled tequila and a pint of beer. The perfect day.

Food is meh. Only one server taking care of the guests. Vibe is nice.

Everyone knows you don’t make a lemon drop martini with lemon juice squeezed out of a bottle from the grocery store. 🤢
It’s always fresh lemon juice and a sugar rim.

Love this place
Citizen Capitol Craft House took over the Loyal Legion space. I'm please to say that Citizen is an amazing replacement. I had a smash burger and house made chips which were super tasty. The staff we friendly and incredibly attentive. The music selection was great with a lot of indie, alternative, and 80s post punk, which really set the vibe. However, what I enjoyed most were the cocktails. There were really interesting special cocktails on the menu. I tried one of the specials and the house Old Fashioned. Both were exceptionally well made and delicious. The happy hour prices are a steal. For example, the aforementioned Old Fashioned was only $7.50 during happy hour. I can't wait to come back as I really enjoyed the experience.

I came here with a couple of friends on a Friday night. They have a large beer selection on tap and mixed drinks, but only a couple of wine options.
We ordered the crab roll, risotto and fish and chips. The crab roll just tasted like lemon. The fish and chips were one of the best in Sacramento. The risotto was huge and good.

Passing through Sacramento on a road trip and decided to try Citizen Capitol Craft House after seeing some good reviews. So glad we did! This is definitely not your typical bar-and-grill. This place has a total upscale vibe to it.
We started with the wings (Buffalo and IPA honey mustard dry rub) both were packed with flavor. The Tuna Poke Tower was super fresh and beautifully layered with a wasabi sauce at the base, and the hummus platter with toasted bread was loaded with toppings that made it anything but boring.
For mains, we shared a juicy burger with crispy fries, a crunchy chicken sandwich, and a perfectly cooked sea bass over colorful veggies. Everything was delicious and way above our expectations.
Our server was awesome! She was super attentive and all her recommendations were spot on. Even the manager stopped by a couple of times to make sure we were enjoying everything, which was a nice touch.
If you’re in Sacramento and want great drinks with chef-prepared food and top-notch service, this place is worth checking out!

I was surprised at how quiet it was here! Not sure if it’s because the entrance was on the side street but anyway we came in and had a great time. The drinks were delicious all around. I enjoyed the fish and chips, my wife got the French dip sliders and the house fries that had a smoky habanero seasoning which was delish! One of our friends got the spam musubi which was a great appetizer.

This place is very confusing. It has a great vibe, friendly bartenders, but the food is absolutely awful. The deviled eggs tasted horrible. Their poke dish was vile. Sure get your drinks here but do not spend a dime on their food. It's just horrible.

Came here for Happy Hour. The Martini was perfectly crafted, super cold and clean just like the way I enjoyed mine. The Mac n Cheese was garlicky and flavorful and not dry. The cheese plate was meal size for the price. Overall it was classy bar, nicely done drinks and chill vibes! I would definitely come back after work and hang out here.

The cocktails are delicious! I really like the crab cakes and truffle popcorn. Inviting and cozy interior, and a good place to catch a game on tv.

I stumbled across Citizen's while I was visiting sacramento for work. It's usually very low-key, has a great atmosphere, good food, and the staff is incredible.

Stayed at the Sheraton across the street for a few days. Tried this place out within an hour of my initial arrival. Made it in time for their happy hour which was priced very reasonably. Loved the food, great drinks, great service, nice regulars who bought me a drink right before leaving.
I ended up taking my coworkers here the next night as they wanted something close to the hotel and they loved it. And the next day we couldnt get away from our work in the Convention center so we just sent someone over to get food to-go. Great every time.
Loved the Pacific Coast Sea Bass.

The menu is top notch, and the liquor selection is off the chart. If you are female, take a man with you, so he can get the server's attention. Women who aren't supermodels are invisible in here.
