I visited Classy Hippie on Saturday, January 17th for a quick meet and greet with the owner and some local friends. This place has a quaint welcoming atmosphere, an extensive selection of high quality loose leaf teas, a variety of grab-n-go bites as well as dine in favs, plus a self service option for quick check out. The aroma of fun, service and hospitality pair with a perfect blend of classy hippie that fills the air. I purchased the pineapple mimosa and English breakfast cream tea and couldn’t wait to get it back to South Carolina to savor the delicate blend of craftsmanship from someone who could only produce such perfection as a tea and coffee sommelier.

I had an incredible experience at Classy Hippie Tea. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, and the entire tea experience exceeded every expectation. Leo was outstanding — knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about tea. He answered all of our questions and then some, opening our eyes to the depth, beauty, and artistry behind tea flavors and tea processes.
I walked away with a whole new appreciation for tea and a deeper understanding of how much intention goes into each cup. We found our way to this inviting spot for their Fall Festival. We were warmly greeted and selected some delicious teas. I enjoyed the Intimacy Tea, and my pal loved her Innunity Tea. This spot also offers pies and pastries and we sampled the most delicious chili. This is a homey shop that you will want to make one of your regular visits.

I went to Classy Hippie Tea for a full tasting to celebrate a family member's birthday and I had a GREAT time. Leo the owner is very knowledgeable. Not only did we enjoy 5 different tea pairings, but we received a full history lesson on where tea came from and how it made its way around the world. Leo has been studying tea for over a decade and even helped me put together a special tea blend to aid with energy and indigestion. The decor is very colorful and the music is calming. This is a wonderful place for the tea enthusiasts and novices alike. Check them out!
