Their specialty drinks are beautifully balanced. The Chai cocktail was one of the best drinks I’ve tried in a while. It’s a very laid back environment, perfect to sit back and have a few cocktails. They have a nice selection of wines as well. It’s a small space, so I highly recommend getting reservation.

The Clayton club is a beautiful place with amazing views of the capital! We love it here, and the service is amazing! It's definitely a hidden gem in the downtown Sacramento area!

Clayton Club was my go-to place over the last year. Great vibe, service, cocktails, and food. But recent changes have been made, and not for the better. Very sad, but not sure when I'll return. Food menu has been cut to less than half, and much of it is uncooked (e.g. cheese plate for $18, charcuterie). Not much to make a meal of now; I had loved the tapas-style plates to make a meal and share vibe. Drink prices seem to have increased ($16); the cocktail (and mocktail) program is solid, but the extra bit of polish and class is gone (e.g. serving plastic straws with paper on them, like at McDonald's. For a $16 cocktail?). The wait staff I knew seem to have turned over. It had a perfect bit of clubby vibe without attirude; there used to be a line of people waiting at the door (it was pretty empty when we went). The furniture was moved around, overall not an improvement. I hope it gets its Mojo back. It does still have a great playlist of music.

Had a reservation before a concert at Golden 1. Was met by the hostess that said there was no wait staff that night but feel free to line up at the bar . Overpriced cocktails and a very long wait for a cheese plate: it's not like they had to cook any food. By the time we got the small salad plate sized cheese plate we were late to the concert. The place has potential but it's not even close .
The Clayton club is a nice upscale atmosphere with a beautiful outdoor patio. The inside is nice and cozy while it's not overbearingly large. Great spot for date nights and small gatherings. 
Definitely not a fan of his place at all. I probably wouldn't go back, but I'm not going to give it a zero stars. I feel like there's a place for everyone. This place just wasn't for me. The food was very lackluster to say the least, in the southern description it was underwhelming, the old fashions were terrible lol location was decent. However, review is directly in the building. If you sit outside, I have the ravens plays at three out of five, but wouldn't recommend anybody else going here.
Great drinks!! food was good, but do not recommend coming here hungry. What they have to offer taste really good, but you will not find full meals. I'm glad places like this exist!

I come here twice a week. They have an incredible cocktail program. Clayton club is definitely one of the hidden gems of Sacramento. All their cocktails are made with in-house fresh press justices and syrups. The cocktails are unique and inspired. They have a small menu of elevated bar bites. The bar itself is swanky and chic. Amber and Nick are my favorites! They both make incredible drinks and give a fantastic experience. There is a cute little patio as well perfect for the a summer night. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I love coming to Clayton Club. It has become one of my favorite spots for girls night, dinner dates, and solo nights. The ambience is always great no matter the number of people there. The staff here is amazing and provides the best service. I would recommend getting drinks/food in early because sometimes there is only one waiter for a large section. Other than that everything about the Clayton Club is amazing and I will definitely continue to go here often.
