I got chicken Larb and sticky rice. The chicken Larb was dry and flavorless and the sticky rice that came with it was in an extra tiny box. Unfortunately, the food is overpriced and has no flavor. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you are looking for a meal to eat.

Not bad for a boba place. It's not like your typical quickly or other boba spots. This place actually serves Lao dishes and desserts. We drove all the way to Cocomilk Cafe from Hayward after seeing people post their food and restaurant on TikTok. The service is excellent. The staff are so helpful and attentive. We ordered the Lao Sausages, Khao Piak, Nam Khao, Grilled Beef, Heavenly Beef, Pork Tapioca and Mochi Layers. Everything was very delicious.

Honestly some of the best lao/thai stir fry I've ever had.I enjoy that it comes in a takeout container in case you don't finish your servings and it makes sense as it decreases dishes turn over but I'm not a huge fan as it feels wasteful.I always take the plastic containers home to wash and reuse so it's a bonus for me, but i know people just toss them because they're lazy.

Love this place! Great selections of dessert drinks and Laotian food and desserts. We love the mango sticky rice, the mochi flower layers, the custard purple rice, the coconut cassava, thai tea, and melon drink. So many to choose from and I can't wait to try them all. We've been here 4 times and every time has been a great experience. The workers and owner is very friendly and provides great service. There was a time we spilled a whole large boba drink by accident and the owner replaced it for free and even helped us clean up. They really care about customers and their food is great!

Delicious Lao and Vietnamese fusion food is served at Cocomilk Cafe. My top picks are the delicious Lao sausage #14, the flavorful grilled pork #8, and the adorable LV lover #15--all of which are oozing with flavor. The Coco Rose #11 is a pleasant beverage that you shouldn't miss. Nestled in a plaza, it could be easily missed between the other eateries nearby. When you do find it, though, you'll find a large, welcoming space that is a must-visit location for anyone who is wanting Lao or Vietnamese food.

Hands down is my favorite restaurant in sacramento of 2023. Super flavorful and never fails to deliver. My favorite item to get here is the grilled beef with sticky rice. While you can get the beef with regular white rice of sticky rice, I think the sticky rice adds a good texture. The heavenly beef is similar to the grilled beef but is more of a beef jerky like texture. The sauce is comes with is amazing and is sour and spicy. The prices are super affordable and I love that the sides aren't the price of a regular entree unlike most restaurants nowadays. I love that I'm able to get the papaya salad along with my meal for only an additional 7.50. The papaya salad comes with the option to get it in the lao or thai style. I typically get the Thai style as I don't like the crabs in the Lao style or the extra added fish sauce. Be warned medium is pretty spicy. The ordering system is a bit confusing as they have a togo counter for drinks and desserts, as they have a separate boba/drinks menu. So if you're dining in you can just sit down at any table and order through the QR code or with the waitress. They are a bit understaffed so you aren't seated immediately upon walk in at least for the last two times I've been and can just sit anywhere you'd like. However if you're ordering to go you can order at the counter or order online to pick up ahead of time. They also have catering options on their website through a Google docs. The mochi layers were also super good and flavorful. You can peel the different layers or bite it all together. The colors are supposed to have different flavors but overall I only tasted the prominent pandan flavor. I hope to try out all the different desserts and will be back for the grilled beef and papaya salad.

They have ascetically pretty looking good. The pandan smoothie was delicious. The banana chips I think they make them in the store it wasn't that good . Plenty of parking, quite inside and spacious the cup are super sturdy too

Came here for lunch on sunday around 11:30. When we went it was completely empty. Ppl did really welcome us or anything so we jus sat at a table and they have things to scan to see the menu but they also have tvs with their menu and prices. Then we eventually ordered at the counter. We got the khao poon and the lemongrass beef and also coco ube. We went back to our table and they brought us the coco ube and water. After like 15 ish minutes the food came out. The portions were soooo small lol. Especially for the price. The khao poon was 12.50 and the beef was 13.50. Both were honestly good tho. Khao poon is probably more worth it tho, bigger portions and had a good amount of chicken and cabbage and bean sprouts topping, flavor was good too. The lemon grass beef comes with a small container of rice or sticky rice, we got sticky rice. The flavor was good and i like the sauce it comes with however it was REALLLY tough, kinda like the hard beef jerky texture ngl. It was tasty tho but hurt my jaw lol. The coco ube came with 8 small little ones for 7.50. It was pretty good, very coconutty but its basically all coconut and i couldnt taste any ube flavor.Overall place is okay. Seems like a cute little family run business. Their other desserts seems cool so IF i came back i would jus probably try other desserts because their main food isnt that worth it but its worth a try!

For the Love of Grubhub:New joint soo I digress. My simple request was extra cucumbers, as I declined the rice. (how hard is that) ??‍♀️Cocomilk took my extra money but disregarded that specific? Gave only the 3 slices it came with. Ok sure np, but yellow lettuce, (3 leafs) and overly dried meat plate is a big nope for me,… not heavenly at all!Cocomilk, pls step it up if you wanna charge $18 for these delicacies please ?? Tapioca was on point, soo kudos for your star ⭐️Best-

Been eyeing this place for a while and finally had to chance to try it. I originally only wanted to try the desserts but some of the food looked good so we ordered a few dishes for take out. Dessert: coco melon drink, strawberry gem drink & a mix of the coco pandan and coco ube mochi. Food: nam khao, grilled beef and pork tapioca. The drinks were my favorite. For the mochi, I liked the pandan flavor more than the Ube. The caramelized coconut filling was good and it wasn't too sweet. The grilled beef had good flavor but it was way too chewy for us. I should've ordered the chicken or pork instead. The pork tapioca was interesting, I've never had it before. It had a good amount of filling inside and I enjoyed it. It's good as a snack. The nam khao wasn't bad. Overall food was decent but next time I would probably come just for the drinks.
