Expected more from the yelp photos, but it was warm in there and ants or some other flying bug was circling around here the cash register was located. Won't be going back to this place

Great mahi tacos. Really big. Just need one. Glass of white wine, great pairing with the fish. I'm not sure why my bill was so much but, 34$. I'd like to go back, but thinking back, I should've addressed the amount. Anyhow, it was my birthday and I mentioned it but no free wine here.

I loved their Cajun flavored grilled mahimahi on super green salad with pineapple salad dressing. It tasted fresh, clean and delicious. Wish they have one in the Easy Bay.

We have been incredibly eager to try this location out since we were first introduced in Maui (go check out that review). The gentleman who rang us up was welcoming and friendly. The dining room itself was immaculate and spacious! Cute decor and surf videos on all the tv screens. It was a quiet Sunday early evening so we enjoyed the place being on the quiet side. We had just been on the road for quite some time coming from the East Bay and we were ready to relax with a nice meal. Dining outside looked pretty appealing but we intentionally chose to sit indoors. Ordered the must-have fish tacos. You could hear the chef grilling in the back, nice little sizzle action going on. Each order comes with two tacos for $12.99. For those who get sticker shock from reading that, just know these things are stacked a mile high and if it would make you feel better you could probably break each taco down into two (with the two tortillas that come with each one). My dad always said that I live to eat and I don't eat to live, meaning I can PUT FOOD AWAY. I definitely did not leave hungry or left wanting another morsel. Why did I give it 4/5 stars? It didn't quite live up to the first location we went to. I'm confident you will enjoy your meal, give it a shot!

The first time I had Coconut's was in Hawaii and I was SO excited to see that it was here in Sacramento! They have the world's best Coconut shrimp that I've been missing since our trip to Maui last year! What's even better is if you check in they give you a coupon for $2 off!! Lunch for 4 adults was $75. 2 orders of tacos, a kalua pork sandwich and shrimp and chips. With coconut shrimp as an appetizer and a side of onion rings and fries..... way too much food. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs!!! But it was all SO good (except the fries, they were too hard). The service was also good. The owner met us and cleaned off our table, and the girl who took our order was very patient with the million questions we asked! I can't wait for our next trip to Sacramento for more coconut shrimp!!!

The simple way to enjoy the healthy and delicious meal with the very nice indoor and outdoor seating! Good location in the midtown area not far from Sacramento downtown. Parking is little easier than downtown but the street parking is still metering. Not too hard to find parking spaces in this area. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are very nice and comfortable. I love their tables designs and how the dining room looks. Two outdoor seating areas in front of the restaurant are also very nice. This is a pay first and you received a number posted on your table, and they'll bring your orders to your table restaurant. The cashier was attentive and helpful, fast service and the foods was good quality and delicious. I love their fish tacos, you can have it as the regular taco, over the rice, or over the salad. Good idea with good choices! The Grille Mahi-Mahi with salad I have was very fresh and tasty. I'm very enjoyed!

Asian Flair grilled Ono over brown rice..that is my jam! Fresh fish grilled perfectly over brown rice with a wasabi based sauced. They have a lot of good stuff on their menu, you can't really go wrong with what you order because everything is pretty good. Seafood chowder was flavorful and reminded me of home back in the islands. There is a traditional Fijian dish that is very similar to this chowder and everytime I come I have to get a cup to start with, its so good! Their Fish & Chips is good also. Crispy french fries and generous portions of fish make it a popular menu item. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating and staff ia friendly every time I visited.

I love it! The food always tastes fresh. Get a lunch combo for the best value at $9.99. it comes with an entree, fries and drink. The fish taco is tricky to eat. Don't try to fold it up immediately and eat it because you're going to make a big mess. It needs to be eaten with a fork/chopsticks first like a salad. Then after eating about half of the yummies, you can fold it up and eat it. 😁

Fish tacos are on point here! The mix of flavors that hit your palette are incredible. From the seasoned fish to the mango topping it all ties in well. The coconut shrimp are another favorite except when the sauce has a refrigerator smell like it's been sitting in there for a few months. Other than that, this place has the best fish tacos in Sacramento

Second time here. Been craving fish tacos and calamari since San Diego and these are pretty awesome. This is slowly becoming my new favorite lunch spot. Next time I'll try the fish taco mountain, which is the same but on brown rice. Yum!

Great food every time. Friendly atmosphere. Fair pricing. One of my favorite places to go.

Meh. Not sure what the hype is. It's definitely not on par with an actual fish restaurant in Maui. In my opinion, it was overpriced for the small portion and quality of the food. Mahi was cooked well, but under seasoned. The salad dressing that was included was not to my taste and was drenched (horseradish? Wasabi maybe?) Busy, busy during lunch time, but attentive and quick service. Probably won't go back as there are a ton of options in the area.

This spot is worth a visit. They have large portions for convenient prices. Always well organized and with awesome vibes. Would recommend to others.

This place didn't hit the spot as I expected! Stopped by during my lunch break and was sold on the $10 lunch special that came with one giant fish taco, fries & a drink. The fish taco was pretty massive and not the street taco size I expected. It came with ample amount of fish meat, lettuce with a sweet savory sauce topped with mangos & tomatoes. It was pretty flavorful and fulfilling, but so difficult to eat. I spent a good minute folding it into a taco, but the second I took a careful bite, all the meat and toppings fell apart! I ended up picking at it with a fork and it became more of a taco salad. Not sure why, but I was more interested in the fresh, hot & crispy fries over anything else. At least I can say I tried this place out now.
