Nice little place but $9 for a large mocha is a bit pricey. When at the doctor's office, they said everything is pricey in the area. They weren't kidding. Lol

I remember ordering these and getting charged around 15 dollar , a smoothie which they blended mango juice and ice and put in a cup , and the pastry was ok not even that good .
Kind of a low-rent feel to it. The girl that served me seemed nervous, but was nice. The coffee was terrible!

5$ for 16oz cup of decent black coffee. Person who rung me up seemed annoyed by my order. Won't go back, no reason to.

All I wanted was a simple colombian coffee and no, you can't get it.And they think mexico is columbia. They don't know, columbia. Is another country. And the copy they have is pretty bad.I didn't care for it at all.

The establishment has roaches. I ordered a Pumpkin spiced latte and a tuna sandwich, grabbed my food, then sat in the far back 2-chaired table. I began working on my laptop when about 30 minutes later, I just so happened to look down and seen a large roach running past my foot. It disappeared into a crack under the baseboard. Absolutely disgusted, I threw away the remainder of my food and coffee. I tried to flag down the barista to let her know what I’ve just witnessed, but she made direct eye contact with me and still proceeded to take three other guests order. I ended up leaving—resulting in me writing this review. Not a fan of this place and will not be back.

The coffee is great, the pastries and food in general is incredibly, almost impressively, dry. Like, disintegrate into dust in your hands dry. It's kind of wild. The coffee, again, is great though.

The staff was very friendly and were very helpful when asking about the different desserts, but I end up going with the chocolate muffin with the cream cheese filling you got to get that one. That's the one already ☝️💯

I came here twice, once on a Saturday afternoon and once this morning. The first time I came I got a cold brew and a muffin and the lady was very helpful. This morning, I came and got a drip coffee and muffin and the young lady was not helpful and quite dismissive. If im paying a higher price for a simple cup of coffee, the service should match the price. Thanks Coffee Works, good luck!

When I was in high school in the Bay Area in the 90s, I used to drive into Berkeley and hang out at the college coffee shops. I thought they were so cool and alternative with their community bulletin boards and quirky employee-made signs. This cafe is just like those places. It was like stepping back in time and I liked it. Decent egg salad sandwich. Interesting cold brew drinks. Strong wifi. Clean bathroom. Tons of tables.
