How do you forget to include the au jus on a French dip?? In addition, I ordered soup on the sis and nobody told me soup was out, so they gave fries which i did not want. Nobody told me, they assumed it would be ok.
Standard dinner, large portions and big TVs.

Cornerstone Café & Bar is one of my favorite spots for brunch in Sacramento! It's the perfect hangout spot for a relaxed, affordable, and fun brunch with friends. What I love most is that their brunch menu stays open until 4pm, which gives us plenty of time to meet up, enjoy a leisurely meal, sip on mimosas, and watch a game without ever feeling rushed.
The atmosphere is great, with plenty of open seating option -booths, tables, and even seats at the bar if you’re looking for something more casual. It’s an easy spot to hang out for a few hours.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Some of my personal favorites are the club sandwich (loaded with turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, plus a heaping side of perfectly cooked fries), the chicken fried steak is also excellent, and when I'm in the mood for something a little lighter, their omelets are always a hit too. Every item on the menu feels like it’s made with care, and I’ve never been disappointed.
If you’re in Midtown Sacramento and looking for a place that combines great food, fun vibes, and a relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend Cornerstone Café & Bar.

Visiting Sacramento for work and Cornerstone is a nice stroll from where I'm engaged. Nice open seating area, super friendly staff. Nostalgic music in the air. Sadly, I was too late for their breakfast waffle. Breakfast shuts down officially at 3p but the waffle iron chills out around 230p so, if you're seeking pancakes with actual ambition, get to Cornerstone at a proper time 😁
That being said, I was surprised by the bacon cheeseburger. It's a diner burger, to be sure, but in a very good way. Solid beef, good American cheese, and truly excellent bacon. This is one of those burgers where the bacon truly owns the flavor profile. The onion rings are also very good. Ask for barbecue sauce if you get the rings. Pretty sure the sauce was Sweet Baby Rays but that's not a bad thing.
All in all a very solid lunch experience. Much recommended if you're in need of a good watering hole whilst out and about on ye olde J Street.

The food was really good after I had to take out all the raw bell peppers from my boyfriends and I breakfast. I got the potato platter, it was good but it’s tasted like a bell pepper scramble, my boyfriend got a breakfast burrito and oh my that thing was bell peppered FILLED (undercooked bell peppers) I like bell peppers but I like them when it’s cooked. Great great customer service.

Came in this morning for breakfast. For a Sunday I expected it to be more busy but thankfully it wasn’t. Food came out really fast and was delicious. Tried their creative omelet and it was a big portion. The person next to me got pancakes and they smelled delicious. Would definitely recommend trying it out. Will be back to try again.
