Visited cornerstone at 11:30a on a Sunday. Party of 6. Service was pretty quick, Calvin was our server. He was pretty nice. Food was mid/just okay. I ordered the biscuits and gravy combo and there was also a club sandwich. Biscuits did not contain any sausage in the gravy and was nothing to write home about. There was nothing spectacularly tasty about the gravy, nothing that would make it memorable. The "toasted" sandwich had cold meat, and when we asked if it could be warmed we were told the kitchen could not accommodate. The other plates were either just okay OR Not edible. Two plates were left picked over, no acknowledgement or inquiry as to why be the restaurant. It was because the omelettes were reviewed as "bland". Can't say I would return or recommend.

Food was good--had a turkey burger and a bloody mary. Our server was super friendly and funny. Nice, low-key, casual neighborhood joint. Haven't been here since the olden days when it was all about the breakfast. I understand they've recently opened a little nightclub scene on the weekends.

picked up the Mrs from workplace n we're sitting in car looking at reviews of places to eat breakfast.. we engaged a passing a passing CHP officer in a convo.. n this place was his recommendation. We were not disappointed.. it had a lovely peaceful atmosphere even with most tables occupied.. service was prompt, our server was very friendly indeed, nice hot coffee on a cold Sacramento morning and the steak we ordered was perfectly done to our taste buds.. there's street parking right outside and numerous TV with separate channels to keep up with the current events.. Highly recommended.

Located right next to the original Cornerstone restaurant (which is now something else), it is a large and loud sports type restaurant/bar with efficient and friendly service and lots of the tasty original menu (such as the potato platter, which is a favorite). Well worth a visit but bring your ear plugs.

A very clean and efficiently ran restaurant. The Coffee was terrific definitely not typical restaurant coffee. The Denver omelette was terrific and they got the entire orders correct the first time. Will definitely be returning!!
Came for lunch on a weekend. Ordered 2 burgers. Bacon Cheeseburger ($15) and mushroom burger ($14) with garlic fries (+$2) Friendly staff. Reasonably priced cocktails (I only get vodka/soda water, so I can't speak to the quality of beers or specialty drinks). They also have about 7 or 8 regular bar tvs and 1 huge 12' screen protected on the wall which always has sports. It also appears there is some sort of dance floor with lights which I assume is for late night.

Outstanding food in generous portions. Classic diner-style food. Try the eggs Benedict anyway they prepare them - there's a version with chorizo that's excellent!

Great service and large portion sizes!! My kiddo was stoked! And we learned that this place turns into a night club on Friday and Saturday!! They just started in July! Have to come back without the kiddo next time ?Vegetarian options: Veggie burger and sandwiches!!Kid-friendliness: Super nice server!
