Restaurant on the river. Excellent atmosphere, good service and food. Pricey. Had the seafood simmer. Excellent but GF had the Primavera just okay and greasy. We were there for an early dinner so music hadn't started yet.

Wife and I dined with a business associate to highlight Sacramento's Riverfront lifestyle. The restaurant was busy with several vessels docked with exceptional loud music which made casual conversation impossible. The waitress took our orders and returned without any utensils. We sat there while food got cold and drinks got hot until she eventually brought a handful of utensils and napkins, dropping them on the table. My order arrived, a 'Bucket of Crawdads'. They were small to medium, overcooked, underseasoned, and freezer burnt. I ate a couple and sent them back. Jambalaya isn't red where I come from. But, it wasn't inedible. Location must be the draw for Crawdads on the River. It most certainly is not the food. Finally, as a Cajun, I regret the association of the term with this establishment.

You’re really paying for the vibe here. The food was overpriced and just okay for a bar-style restaurant. The beet salad was especially disappointing - small and barely had any beets. Nachos plate was decent.
