One of the only open places to eat on the strip. Ordered the Mediterranean bowl and a ice tea. Looks healthy however not much chicken or rice. Majority 9f the bowl was salad.

Crest Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat lunch downtown. Their food is fresh and the people working there are fast and courteous. A few of my favorite items are the Mediterranean Nachos and the Gyro Fries as well as the Couscous Salad which I like to add Gyro meat to. Thanks for remaining open during these difficult times.

Mediterranean Bowl is my fave. It's so fresh and flavorful. The chicken shwarma completes this bowl of goodness. And the fries are perfectly fried and always fresh. The menu prices are reasonable. Good serving size, can be shareable. The place has a large sitting area, indoor and outdoor. They have friendly servers. They keep the dining area clean.

My favorite lunch spot downtown. The Mediterranean bowl is a delicious meal that makes you at least feel like you are eating healthy with the salad on top and chicken shawarma and rice on the bottom.

Food was really good, but there was a slight language barrier with one of the servers. I asked for salt. He looked at me like he didn't understand. I then motioned my hand over my fries like a was shaking a saltshaker. He nodded his head and brought me a fork wrapped in a napkin. I chuckled because I can see where he thought my hand gesture was me using a fork vs a saltshaker. Once again, food was delicious! Just ask for salt when you place your order. ;-)

In town for a conference and my first time to Sacramento, I did a quick search for lunch spots near my hotel and Crest came up. As a huge fan of Mediterranean food, and with good online reviews, I headed here for lunch on a Wednesday — and I wasn’t disappointed! Although I arrived half an hour before closing time (2pm) and (1) there was hardly anyone inside and (2) it looked as though there wasn’t any food left, everything worked out perfectly! I chose to eat in and went for the chicken shawarma tacos from their (somewhat limited) menu. Staff were friendly and my food was served very quickly. Ingredients were incredibly fresh and I loved it! (NOTE: though the menu is limited, I think this sometimes helps — too many choices can be challenging!) Would definitely recommend this place — very authentic :)

Absolutely love this place! The chicken plate is a goto, serving size is smaller than what it used to be, although still plenty to hit the spot. The Mediterranean Gyro fries are amazing, and enough for 2-3 people to share. My personal favorite is the Lamb Gyro plate. Pro tip: Ask for creamy jalapeño and tazitiki sauce on the side.

Got the couscous salad and falafel, and it was delicious! New favorite lunch spot in downtown.

Great convenient spot for sit down lunch or grab and go. Terrific portions and range of plates. Always wanting more when I finish, despite the portions. Gyro and Falafel are both solid. Glad I work close by.

It was ok. The food was ice cold and a little unpleasant to eat. I got there around 11:30 on a weekday. No lines. The service wasn't particularly friendly. The guy at the register didn't crack one smile lol and pretty much just looked at me with a dead stare to place an order and then gave me a table number. Later on, as small as the tacos were (the size of street tacos), I couldn't finish it. It wasn't great, thought it might be better if I heated it up at home. I asked for a to go box and the staff acted irritated that I was bothering them lol it wasn't busy at all. Tons of empty tables and no one in line. And then I saw one of the guys scratch his nose then touch the food, preparing someone's order. I don't get the hype. I gave 2 stars Bc the food looks nice. Is that too generous based on my review? lol
