This little gem is so unique and absolutely delicious! The staff is always friendly and you get a true country kitchen hospitality. This is a humble establishment with so much wall decor, it keeps you surprised at every visit. This one is a diamond in the rough. One that my family has been coming to for years!
One of the breakfast places I have tried in the area. Love the spooky Halloween interior. Amazing service.

Good prices, good service and if you have children it's a fun place to take them. Lots of stuff on the walls and one of the rooms has a little train running overhead.

I had my wife pick out a place to stop for breakfast on the way to Reno for the weekend, and Cricket Country Kitchen was what she came up with. No regrets! All the servers were super friendly. The menu states that the chicken fried steak is the best in the city. Lots of places claim this, so of course we had to give it a try.....and I have to say, it was probably the best one I've ever had. The gravy was on point, but the meat itself was just so tender and flavorful, and breaded perfectly. Pricing was great as well. We've definitely found a great breakfast option any time we're on the road.

We did breakfast. So much food. All of it delicious. Also a lot! We ordered family style to share. Delicious country potatoes, 2-biscuits with gravy, side of ham and bacon, and fruit. All delicious. I suggest the 1-biscuit with gravy. Very shareable for two people. Large yummy biscuits.

This place has the worst coffee I have ever had. The food is alright and the staff are nice enough, but you'd expect a place like this to get COFFEE right. It literally tastes like slightly caffeinated water, and even someone sensitive to caffeine like me didn't feel anything while drinking that stuff. Today I went with my grandmother, a woman who lives off of coffee, and she thought it was lousy as well.
Was hoping for a hidden gem when checking this place out, but it's just an average restaurant with awful coffee.
