My ribeye was cooked to perfection but was not as flavorful as others I have enjoyed in other fine dining experiences. Service was excellent. Charging me for parking in excess of the time allotment strikes me as tacky given how busy the restaurant was and how that caused service delays that increased parking time. Dawsons should have eaten the $13 parking change, particularly for an expensive fine dining experience.
This place is great. This is the second time we’ve been. The steak is wonderful. And you can share one baked potato. It was huge. We couldn’t even finish half of the baked potato between the two of us. And then I had the deconstructed strawberry shortcake which blew me away. I highly recommend Dawson’s.
My Australian Wagyu as well as my guest same dish lacked consistency in temperature. We both asked for medium temperature. Parts of our steaks were very well done, parts were medium and parts of my steak was also a tad under medium. Presentation was lovely. My guest was disappointed as it was her birthday and she only likes her meat medium. I don't mind other temperatures so I was still able to enjoy my meal. The asparagus is fabulous.
