Real slow start to have order taken, and it was not busy. But a atmosphere was good. Clean place and overall friendly staff.

Parking: 1. Only about 3-16 spots as best as I ca remember.
2. Only 3 employees working at the time making long waits for food.
3. Sever Holly was the best we’ve had in YEARS !!

We came in on a Friday it was picking up and there was only one person working the tables. Kimberly did her best making sure to keep everyone in the loop even though she was single-handedly running the entire room… seating, serving, taking care of tickets and bussing. We have been here before and waited over an hour after being seated with no one coming over….and left. Gave it another chance and got lucky Kimberly was there. What a superstar. She even gave my kiddo a small water cup for her pretend play with a plastic frog.

I'll admit that time and circumstance has done a lot to my favorite Dennys in the Sacramento area. It's been a while since I've been there since this one is near the center, and I'm at the edge of the county now, but when I was going to Sac State and later when I worked in south Sac, I came here often. And so I was a little disappointed with the service and general flow of the place. I came during breakfast, and it was a skeleton crew. The main server seemed as though she was a bit confused as to what she was supposed to do at any given time. She was almost forgetful. The food came out okay, better than a prior experience, so I got that sense of redemption. That said, as said before, this was my favorite Dennys up to this point. I'm pretty sure this was a standalone experience, but I may have to be open enough to find a new Dennys now. Times have changed, I guess.

Horribly understaffed and waited nearly 30 minutes to place an order after waiting 2o minutes to be seated and finally waited 25 minutes plus to receive food, management was not present nor worth the visit imo!!!

Came here with a group of friends 1/18/25 at 3 am to eat after a night out and the food was the plainest food we have ever had. No type of seasoning just felt like it was frozen food and had a cook who didn’t know how to cook. Especially something as easy as a sandwich or breakfast sandwich. Then they wanted us to pay before we even got our food which was really weird. Definitely avoid this place. Coffee was extremely cold. Food also took forever to get to the table we were basically the only ones there. Who ever the cook definitely lied on his resume.

The outside was uncomfortable, homeless , addicts ,
The inside was outdated & worn
I ordered 55+starter, hash browns were undercooked , sausage was old, dry.
My other half order the grandslam, bacon was cooked to the death , eggs were dry in some spots wet in other ,
The best part was the pancakes , syrup was cold.
Bathrooms needed cleaning, dust on the back of the toilet tells me it hadn't been cleaned in a bit. This all tells me that it was not just an off day.
Will not be stopping at this restaurant again .

1st time this year. Sunday Jan 19th 2025 @ 9a was chaotic event.

Hope they can ger back on track because today it was off the rails.
