We hosted our son's 1st bday party at Device and we had a GREAT time! The owner, Ken, was super easy to work with and all of the staff there were amazing! Shane, Jason, Luke, Andrew, etc... All of them were friendly and helpful.
The party space was perfect as we had a "football themed" party for our son's "1st Down". The room with equipped with TVs, shuffleboard, foosball and a ton of tables and chairs.
They have a great outdoor patio with misters as well!
They also have a good selection of beers on draft, canned options and light snacks. We catered from Mendocino Farms and Shake Shack, which was super convenient. They have a partnership with Shake Shack, so if you tell them you're at Device, they will walk it over to you!

No NA options except for water. Huge bummer— Athletic Brewing, Rationale, Liquid Death, Dram are all better options than water. Go to Safeway to a pick up a few cases until you can have your distributor drop off.To the owner that just responded I think a better response would have been “Hey, you’re right, in 2024 it’s great to have options for folks to sip on with their friends whether they’re a DD, sober, or just uninterested in alcohol that evening. I’d love to be a place where I can increase sales by encouraging groups of thirsty patrons to come back by having a small selection of options that are non-alcoholic”

Incredible beertender! She was so attentive, helpful, and friendly. I’m from Seattle and my phone battery was drained due to not being connected to any wifi networks, and she offered to charge it for me without me asking. Vibes were great and understandably so. The staff is fantastic!

Ceiling was leaking which was gross. Noisy atmosphere and no food. Pocket location is better in every way.

Made in Sacramento but not for Sac people! This just happened 7/28 driver of this Device Brewing company blocked several cars off on J Street and when asked to move his response was " I'm a licensed truck driver?"Then told me he would be finished in 15min!When people started seeing what was going on he began a heated racial rant with a bystander. Fire this jerk he is bad for your business!

Nice space, feels a bit like an elevated tap room but in a great location and a great vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Also you can order from the shake shack from the brewery and there are a lot of great food options near by if you are hungry

Solid atmosphere, trivia is fun, occasionally have some food trucks but plenty of food locations near by that Yalu can get delivered. Only 4 starts because the beer selection lacks of diversity.
