Not sure how it happened, but birria was shoved to the forefront of food trends for some time and El Cora is the best of them.

El Cora is located inside a gas station. Enough said. You know when a food establishment is located inside a market or gas station, it's some good eats.

You order, pay and wait the agonizing, what seems like forever wait. The wait is long but totally worth it, as you watch the ladies cook up all that deliciousness. Most quesabirria tacos are a greasy, soppy, soft mess. The quesabirria here is cooked low and slow, so they came out crispy and stayed crispy. They load so much cheese, you get a nice cheese pull when biting into the tacos.

They serve goat (chivo) or beef (res), but the goat is much better. The consomé has so much flavor and hunks of meat, you'd think you got a side of soup. Their salsa has some good heat to it.

Whenever I'm in the mood for birria, this is the spot I go to. I've been coming here for years and it's still as good as the first time I tried them. Consistently delicious!

Hella good. Birria de res y chivo. Husband said the chivo was better, i thought the res was the best. Place is amazing

Got my burrito took it out the bag 20 ft away my truck I was finish eating this $15 burrito feel used and abused will never go back again Love beans but not that damn much you can get them for free

Lady is nice here. But man for real. The tooth sucks. I am from the motherland Jalisco. And I ate some pretty jacked the food before. That means I have to say I am a pretty good professional about food here. It’s just not that good. And it’s pricey. I don’t recommend it.

These are prime gas station tacos. I had seen some good reviews, so we drove there straight from the airport, and it did not disappoint. They were so kind and helpful in getting us set up with the right selections to really enjoy both beef and goat quesa tacos with consomme. Highly recommend, we will go back in a heartbeat if we get the opportunity.

Initially I was not going to try this place because it's...in a gas station. I'm SO glad I listened to people who've been there. This food is wonderful. I ordered for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. The portions are generous and the flavors are out of this world. Don't sleep on this place!
