Very dirty. Every single table either had food or was sticky. The floors were filthy. We went to the counter to order and there was dried food skills all over and cross contamination. The cook in the back was talking through the window to the counter gal--he wiped his face/nose with his bare hand. Disgusting.

We probably eat here once a month. It's easy to order walking along the counter picking out your rice and toppings as you go. The staff is nice and helpful, if you need a hand bringing dishes to a table. The tostada bowl is my favorite; the shell is so crispy and tasty, especially with chili verde which has the perfect zing, soaking down into the rice and veggies. I'm told the pozole is one of the best, a must-try. They have good horchata, a salsa bar, specials like quesa birria. It feels like a family business here. We see pretty much the same staff whenever we go, and they are happy to see us. It has an authentic feel, the music is fun. It does need dusted on the ceiling fixtures.

Love their food. We always come here for their delicious Rocinante salad. The pozole is also very good and their fish tacos are amazing. Of course my kids get their chicken quesadilla. And they have endless tortilla chips to go along with our meal and their horchata is amazingly flavorful. Definitely 10/10

I have not been here for years, yet it was good as always. I like the salsa "bar" where you can choose how hot you want. The food is good. I generally get the burrito bowl. You go down the line and tell them to put in what you want. It is a custom bowl.

Discovered this place on my way down to Bakersfield. This is like a Chipotle, but it's authentic mexican cuisine. With pozole, tortilla soup, amazing burritos. Salsa bar and real mx cheese. Absolutely recommend this place.

my go to Mexican in Natomas. I usually get the one item chicken taco combination plate to go with yellow rice and refried beans. Always delicious, efficient service. Love that you can bag your own chips (included not a separate charge) and the salsa bar is well attended with delicious salsas. I like their dining room, pretty large and clean. i've been here multiple times and will come here when i want something other than that chain with 3 locations in Natomas. Be aware they charge a small fee for paying by credit card (looks like 3.5%) of your pre-tax total.

First time here, got in kind of late but the staff was very welcoming and answered several questions our group had. I went with the Don Quixote platter which comes with choice of rices, choice of beans, 2 proteins and choice of tortillas. The helpings were plentiful with plenty of options. I had the carnitas and the barbacoa. It a slow comes with guacamole sour cream lettuce and tomato's. There's also a salsa bar with chips available. Although I enjoyed the carnitas I was not a huge fan of the barbacoa. We also had a platter of the nacho dinner which was huge! It was covered in cheese meat and sauce. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics to be able to share.

Everything here is extremely fresh, serving sizes are perfect and the salsa is amazing. Highly recommend the burrito bowls if you're on a diet and the giant quesadilla.

What can I say the posole is delicious. The chile Verde tamales are another one of my favorites there. Whatever I have tried I have not been disappointed. The salsa bar has some of my favorites and I'm never disappointed by the horchata... and the lunch specials are always worth a try.
