The food is amazing, stop is very nice, there's a young lady who is just very on-point just her job without any extra. We bought what we thought was a solar charger from there which doesn't charge through the sun.

I bought dry meat, the seller went to storage and grabbed a bag of 7 pounds, I paid for it but when I arrived back home I noticed it was all bones with some fat. No meat at all.Compatriots, please be aware every time you buy meat, because the hidden seller will sneak up on you and bring you a map that only has the bones of a cow and that's it. don't get hurt

If you’re only going to get 1 thing you MUST try the kofta puloa! It’s soooo flavorful and the meat is so tender. The rice was also delicious and the salad was your traditional Afghan salads. I wished there was more salta and a little more sauce on the chicken. It’s very much flavored with sumac and spices and perfect if you like simply chicken kabobs but I like my chicken more saucy like in shawarma. Keep in mind it’s inside a grocery store so seating isn’t the best, I’d do takeout.

A little gem in Sacramento. The food was great. The best part was the bread.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I bought Bolani and gyro, but the ingredients such as leeks and chickens were terrible and leftover, and it made us sick.I don’t know how often the city officials inspect their food quality!

These are the worst shops, they sell yogurt but kill people's lives, spoil yogurt and lick them. These are thieves. They sell expired and bad quality products. They are theft and they steal people's money. I highly don't recommend this place. It's such a gross place.

I bought some expired snacks, snacks that has bad odor and taste and brought it back to exchange and they refused. Even talked to the manager too. I go here all the time and spend at least $250 each time. Businesses don't vaule customer.

Once upon time East market was my first go place for most halal purchases and I still try to support them but they’re going towards quantity not quality and I’m sorry but you’re losing customers and that’s not good for your business (att. Owner). Customers have other options around the area and competition matters!!

This store is been my family’s first and favorite stop for around 8 years and I’m their customer since then. recently a lot of more Afghan stores opened and East market got a lot of competitors in the area and I was always hoping that it would be even better if East market add the Chapati to its bakery menu which finally happened and I’m happy that I got my first chapati Nan today from East market ?? . Great work by the management and thank you for taking the time to address the customer’s needs and suggestions.

This Aghan restaurant and store are robbing us day by day. The food is getting more expensive than before if you compare to any other restaurant in the area. If you want to order Afghan Qubali, it will cost you more than $20, so be careful before ordering the food???
