Echo & Rig is hands down my favorite steakhouse in Sacramento! The vibe is always great, and the customer service is top-notch. Eric and Aaron took such good care of us; super friendly and on point. We honestly keep coming back just for those portobello fries... they're unreal! Always a great time here.

The best service we have had in a restaurant in a long time. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the food wasn't great--lacked flavor and some things were not cooked well. Otherwise we would be making this a regular place to visit.

I've been to this several times before, and have always had a great experience. I wanted to bring my partner here for quite some time now. Our server was Kim, and the past few times I had been there, she was always my server. She was excellent, and engaged my partner and I in conversation. She made some excellent recommendations about our dinner, and they were totally worth it! I would recommend anyone visiting Sacramento, or any locals who want a nice restaurant to go to, this place is it!

1045 am and over three fourths of brunch menu not available. No explanation Steak had to be ordered medium or well. Ordered medium. Came overdone like shoe leather Got cocktail 20 minutes after ordering. Worst Bloody Mary ever. No garnish, no flavor. Walter never asked how was No regular sugar for coffee. Only fake stuff , he said he'd try to find some. Freezing inside Could go on and on. Will not return for brunch

My friend and I came here for dinner, and what a meal! We started with Bacon w/House Made BBQ Sauce, Pork Belly Burnt Ends w/Cherry Glaze. I also ordered a Shrimp Cocktail for myself. He then ordered a NY Strip and I had a Ribeye Cap. He ended with 2 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, and I had a Sorbet Bowl with one scoop each of Mango, Lemon and Peach. An amazing meal was made better by the fantastic service that Zack (Zach?) provided. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We are definitely making this a monthly thing!

It was a belated birthday celebration and staff were kind to acknowledge it. Plus the birthday desserts!

I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but I was too busy eating it! I ordered the Spencer steak, mac and cheese, lamb porterhouse, broccolini, and crab cake, and all were amazing! The food was absolutely the standout.

The service was OK, however I don't know why they were serving lukewarm water when it was over 90 degrees out. I also wish we were informed about substitutions for the garlic chips, because I definitely didn't want to eat chips with my steak. The hostesses also seemed a bit confused, and they said so out loud, making me aware of their confusion.

The atmosphere was...weird. I guess this is because it is located in a hotel. While the staff was all dressed up, some of the clientele were in sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc., so we definitely felt overdressed. The noise level was nice; we were able to have a conversation without screaming. Overall, I would definitely visit again, but I'd be dressed a lot more casually.

Slow service. Steaks waaay too salty. Potato chips served with main course, are you kidding. Didn’t even ask if we wanted coffee or dessert, just brought the bill.

I was looking forward to the spinach salad and Branzino dish all day today- my two favorites here, but since my husband was ordering the steak salad for his dinner, we opted for the Brussels sprouts instead (another fave). All was delicious, as expected! Zach was wonderful as usual, very attentive, but not “too” anything. It was a pretty quiet night in comparison to our last few experiences- usually there's much more bustling and hustling..it made it feel like it was our very own secret place. No disappointment here tonight :)

For the past 2 years it's always been a vibe here. The managers & staff are always great. Sunday brunch manager today was just phenomenal. He introduced himself to everyone and has great humor. Much appreciated for a good vibe, food & drinks.

There are tons of great restaurants in the Golden Center. Do yourself a favor and find a better spot. Their service is abysmal. I went to Echo & Rig and ordered dinner to go at the bar. I ordered the chicken with a side or broccolini. After waiting for 40 minutes, I asked about my food. The bartender, Audrey, ran to the kitchen to check on my order. While she was gone, another bartender assured me this was a normal wait time because chicken takes a long time. A minute or two later, Audrey returned with my food. I paid $50 plus tip and left. When I got to my room and opened the box, it was clear it had been sitting around and was cold. I called the restaurant to complain but their phone is forwarded to the Vegas location. So not only is their service poor, they’re unreachable. The person at the Vegas location suggested I send an email if I wanted to speak with a manager. How disappointing.

The food was top notch. It was a little loud when we first arrived with a full restaurant, but was better later. The bar was busy and a little slow for drinks to arrive. Otherwise outstanding! Waiters, manager and bus boy checked in often. Definitely recommend!

The food was excellent (my date and I got the mac and cheese, crab cake, broccolini, spencer steak medium rare, and lamb porterhouse medium well). The atmosphere was odd...there were some dressed up, and some in t-shirts and hoodies, which I guess is because it's in a hotel. The servers were solid, but I'm not sure why they were serving lukewarm water when it was 90 degrees outside. It wasn't noisy at all, we were able to easily hold a conversation. If not for the food, I probably wouldn't go back, but the food truly was excellent, that was the best mac and cheese I had in Sacramento, and spencer steak was absolutely delicious! Probably not the best for an intimate date, but if you're just taking your girlfriend out to eat somewhere decent, this is a good choice.
