I got the chicken egusi with fufu with an extra fufu for about 30.00. The egusi was good, but unfortunately, the chicken was old. The fufu was made from powder and I don't even think it was cassava. It tasted like a mashed potato spuds from a box mixed with some ingredients to try to imitate fufu. I ended up throwing away the chicken because it was just so old tasting. Unfortunately, this place was a miss for me. I will not be returning unless the quality goes up.

The sweet treat I purched was stale, and the price of it was a dollar more than the menu board said. When I mentioned it, the cashier said the price had not been changed on board yet. Yeah, right. She was rude. The ethnic music they played was too loud as well.

Authentic African cousine , one of the main reasons to come to the mall here. Food is made fresh and not in a large quantity, its worth it to call ahead or come early to get the good stuff.

Food is good but they don't follow the hours posted. Drove 46 mins on a Thursday and no one was at the counter and everything put away. Called the number several times, no answer. They had another location posted on Yelp so tried to go there and nothing. They have moved from 3 different locations in 3 years and never leave any kind of notice. The inconsistency makes it hard to leave a good review. No note at the counter or anything. Maybe it is partly why they have a hard time building consistent consumers and have to close.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD! I really wanted to try pounded yam and egusi and so I searched one up near me and this was the closest location. I was not disappointed! It’s in like a ghost shared kitchen and so you just order it with her and she’ll call you when it’s ready but no seating. I thought the pounded yam would get stuck in my teeth but omg it was so smooth and just melted into egusi so well. The flavors were jam packed and the portions weee huge! I had enough leftover for a few days. The plantains were so big, thick and juicy. It was so perfectly caramelized that I immediately finished it. I can’t wait to try again!

Look, I am all about supporting small businesses, and when I find something I really like, I will always make it my GO TO spot! Mind ya'll I live about 30 mins away from sunrise. So, I have been coming here many times for my fufu and egusi cravings. But it sucks that they had downside's the portion of the fufu (found out when I got home). The fufu is only enough for one protein that is serve in this to go plate which comes with 2 protein per plates. I feel like the cost for this plate is already pricey, but to downsize the fufu to make customers buy extra is def getting kinda greedy, per se. But I hope that I am wrong and maybe this batch was just made into a smaller ball due to different people that is wrapping it up. I may go back one more time, and if it continues then I probably will not go back. It's already a far drive, costly plates, on top of small portions whereas we should NOT have to buy extra fufu to go with our meal.

The guy was friendly but the meat was not good. I think we got leftovers from the long holiday weekend because we spent over $100 on lunch and had to walk it straight to the garbage can after one bite of meat. I had the rice, and it made me violently sick. We had two meals with no meat and was charged $25 for two scoops of soup and a ball of FuFu. We were really disappointed because this place had good reviews but I had a bad feeling as soon as we walked into that rundown mall and found our way in an empty food court.

Tried this place for a late lunch yesterday. I am not familiar with this cuisine but the gentleman working was very helpful. I really enjoyed the food and would eat there again. Large servings so I was able to take some home for later which was nice too. Very filling and flavorful. It is the only food restaurant open in the sunrise food court, so it's a little glum sitting in the food court section. They did have music playing which made the area more pleasant. Would recommend

First and foremost, I highly recommend this restaurant. My friends and I were interested in trying Nigerian food, particularly Fufu and Egusi. After doing some research Naija Cuisine stood out the most to us. Upon arrival we were greeted by Naija. She was the friendliest and most welcoming person. Naija was quick to offer samples, and we first tried the Egusi Soup. This soup was extremely flavorful, a little on the spicy but not too overpowering. Next, we tried the chicken pepper soup. Despite the name, it doesn't have an overwhelming peppery flavor. The flavors are much more complex, well-seasoned, and very delicious. Lastly, we sampled the Jollof rice. The rice was incredible, the combination of low spice level and slight sweetness created an amazing balance of a rich and pleasant umami taste. If you're looking for a satisfying meal with exceptional service, I highly suggest this restaurant!
