I tried a taco while ordering a burrito bowl for a friend, and I was really impressed with how good the chicken tasted. It had a rich grilled flavor that stood out right away. If I discover a location close to my home, I can see myself stopping in all the time.

Got a two piece breast and wing and it was drier than the desert and not much flavor . The Mac and cheese was cooked to hell and just mush . Tried calling but they donāt answer and the mailbox is full so they can avoid helping anyone . This explains why they are so dead . Update , I did contact you guys and was told because your employees would not provide me with a receipt you wonāt fix the issue and only offered me a some sort of discount for a second visitā¦ but if the food is gross and dry why would anyone want to return . Seems a lot of folks have gotten dry chicken but you guys havenāt fixed it .

The South Sacramento El Pollo Loco has impressed me very much at my last visit. I ordered one of the delicious bowls that they have and was very delighted and satisfied. The food was so fresh and tasty. I couldn't wait to give them this 5 star rating. I go to all of the El Pollo Loco locations in Sacramento. They rank 3rd out of the 6 that I go to.
I go here most often and for the most part.I never get bad service.The food is always hot and good, fresh.And what I normally get is the original chicken tostada, which, to me is a taco salad. The chicken be so dry š© but the food is still good tho š
