TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Consistently they UNDERCOOK the food! I ask to have it well cooked, because literally the cheese isn't even melted and the food is cold, yet they still serve me uncooked tortilla and a handful of cold, uncooked cheese. I used to come here several times per week but after the last time I actually requested a refund AND NEVER GOT IT despite the manager pretending to do something to give me a refund. It's been almost two weeks, no refund even pending. Do not go here. The chicken has never been undercooked but often times it's questionable and nearly spoiled. Such a disappointment.

Chicken (drumstick, thigh) was dry, cooked too long. Chicken breast in salad more dry, like saw dust. may have been chopped up hours before service to the customer. Suggest not leaving Chicken on the grill longer than required to cook it.

After getting the wrong order the last 2 times I ordered from this location. I ordered the 5.99 taco carbon special that is on the banner on outside of store and facing the street. I declined the large and made no substitution. I was charged 6.99 before tax. When I asked the service person said 5.99 was the starting price? What i ordered it as it is. No large drink, no extras. This is illegal BAIT AND SWITCH.

The Chipotle Guacamole Burrito at El Pollo Loco was a solid choice—flavorful, with a nice balance of smoky chipotle and creamy guacamole. The chicken was tender, and the ingredients tasted fresh. A satisfying meal overall!
