I don't know if it must have been the weather or what's going on but it was just too many flies at the bar. I ordered the food and it tasted really good the shrimp bacon wrapped hey.
I stopped by for a drink and a bite. The bar tenders were sweet and attentive. I ordered a Michelada and ceviche de camaron. The Michelada was ok. The mixture was good, and good size for the price. The menu states it comes with a shrimp garnish. Mine arrived sans shrimp. But it was still tasty. The ceviche how ever was a disappointment. It was sweet, tasted like tomato, onion, cucumber in a sweet tomato juice. The shrimp was small and not devained. The chips were stale. Of course...
Glad it was open, many of the downtown eateries we're shuddered during the pandemic. We ate at the bar, service was weak but the food was good, loved Manny's Tacos and the bacon wrapped shrimp. We were heading to the Crest Theater which is just across J street, so the location was perfect.
