Although we arrived a little early, we were seated immediately, which we appreciated. The service all through dinner was timely, informative, friendly, and attentive. We first had the house made rolls (6) with truffle butter, which were warm and delicious. We enjoyed one each then savored them with our main event, which was the seafood plateau. Wow, the oysters, prawns, lobster and salmon tartare were each wonderfully fresh and delicious. We missed not having Kamamoto oysters...
Beautiful building inside and out. Wonderful and helpful customer service. Food was delicious and done in perfect timing. Whole experience was so pleasant and outstanding in all ways.
I had never been to Ella but had heard good things, so I thought I would try it. We sat very close to the people next to us. My server did not acknowledge me for quite some time. I also had to ask for an iced tea refill, and he simply gave me warm tea, and then I had to request ice, which came in a separate glass, and I was left to get it into my tea. The service just was not great. The food was good but not worth the price. There are plenty of other places I would rather eat...
