One of life's happiest accidents was finding Everest Curry. We had no idea how spoiled we'd been by the Himalayan restaurant we'd had in our little town of Jackson until it closed (for renevations) and we had to go in search of comparable food. It just wasn't to be found...anywhere...or so we thought. Then we found Everst Curry. WOW! Amazing food! I'd almost forgotten how much I loved dahl soup. And the chana masala...and the mo mo...and the vegi pakora (oh my, the vegi pakora)...and the samosas. And then the house specialty, the "Everest" curry. We had the lamb. So tender you don't even need to chew with what seemed to be a tomato based korma (maybe) with spinach. I was almost in tears! We're still looking forward to our Taste of Himalaya restaurant re-opening, but we sure know where to go to get our fix in the meantime. Thank you, thank you.
I’d pretty much given up on finding good Indian food in Sacramento—most places are bland and forgettable. We stumbled on this spot by chance, and it was a total surprise. Ordered takeout (ready right on time, perfectly packed), and every dish was bursting with flavor. The tikka, butter chicken, and palak paneer—the usual “white people classics”—were all outstanding. Spicy not as in hot, but layered with real spice and depth. Easily the best Indian food we’ve had in town.

First time here. There’s parking which is nice. Service was great, Very sweet. Good size portions and everything was spot on for flavor. I would recommend just an order of rice and naan rather than adding the $7.95 “deluxe” meal. I would return.

Just incredibly delicious 🤤 everything was well spiced (both with seasoning and heat at the ‘spicy level’) and the meat was tender/juicy. We had lamb biriyani, chicken tikka, saag chole, and chicken momos.

The food I tried was good, but I didn’t get the chance to try all the dishes during the buffet, because they were empty the entire hour I was there. They did not refill the trays once. There was also no dessert when I went. I paid $19+tax+tip. not satisfied
