We were visiting Sacremento and happened to be in the neighborhood. We went for late lunch on 9/30/2024. We order two Koobedah combos and one lamb Shank. Everything was Halal and excellent with great service. Don’t forget to order black tea.
Famous Kabob is the Raffi's of Sacramento. The barg, koobideh, and jujee kabob were all excellent - perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were excellent. I enjoyed the complimentary sabzi, feta, and bread. The kashkebademjoon was okay. Will try the masomousir next time. The ice cream to share was excellent. What makes this place five star besides the service is the wonderful flavor of their food. Their hummus is sublime ? and their koobideh is juicy & flavorful. The menu is varied but not too big with all the classics with wonderful portions. Superfresh ingredients. While it looks like a small restaurant from the outside it is actually quite large and can hold a good group size for a party.
