Wish I would have taken a photo of the almond croissant.. just happened not to. The croissant was pretty over cooked, overall super crispy throughout. Pretty disappointing since it cost $7.. I love a good croissant ..buttery and flakey with a nice moist interior and don’t mind paying for it. But for an over cooked super crispy croissant it’s not worth the hype.

Grabbed a loaf of the Olive Cornmeal (or polenta? ) bread to bring to a dinner party. It was amazing-would love to return and try more things!

Okay, so the bread is always a little on the dark side and the servers can be sassy. It doesn’t change the fact that everything is delicious! I have had their bread many times and have never felt it was too “burned” to enjoy. It can make it slightly bitter around the crusts and a little more chewy, but it’s still edible and enjoyable. I got a piece of miso toast with jam to go this morning and regardless of its color, every bite was fantastic.

Amazing iced Americano. So smooth and refreshing - had to come back again.

Love the almond croissant too! Passionfruit tart was a bit sweet but tasted great with americano so all was good

Everything I have tried at Faria is excellent, but the Country Loaf absolutely blew my socks off. It is by far the best bread I have ever tasted. The depth of flavor, the crumb and crust - 10/10 perfection! Cheers to these master bakers.

I usually order online for the next morning. They make it easy to pick up and pastries and bread are always fresh and delicious.

We love, love, love Faria. Their miso bread is out of this world! Online ordering and pick-up is super easy. On our favorite days we stay for a delicious coffee and a yummy snack. Staff is nice, food is sublime. Try their pizza place next door too :)

I have irrational fears that people from the Bay and elsewhere will discover the miso bread here and come and buy all of it all of the time and then there will be a miso bread shortage for locals. It would be a travesty. If you haven't already tried it, you should try it, but don't buy all of it. Save some for me.

We turned away because they were out of what we wanted and the lunch menu didnt read like what we were in the mood for. Fortunately, it was late on fathersday and they were the only place open (that we wanted to eat at, we are picky).
Holy crap! Everything was amazing! The Burnt Bastille Cheesecake, The Almond Torte thing, The Japanese egg salad on Milk Bread, the weird salad thing, the coffee, the matcha special and even the cheese pizza, believe it or not. How can one small bakery be so good at such a variety of foods? I dont know, but they are. Dont go there. Leave it all for me.

All I have to say is Faria bread is out of this world(I buy a loaf every week). I’ve been to Europe several times where handmaid artisan bread is a main stay In many of the diets. I am not kidding when I say this bread is better than anything I’ve ever had in Europe, hands-down. To say that they care about what they’re doing at Faria is an understatement. Their bread making(and all of their food) is clearly a passion. Enough said.

This is one of my favorite bakeries! Everything I’ve tried here is absolutely melt-in-your-mouth amazing. They know how to make a proper croissant, and their pastries are worth every calorie. The service is exceptional, and they also make fantastic matcha and lattes. I’m honestly glad I don’t live too close, or I wouldn’t be able to resist coming all the time. It’s just so oishi!

A local bakery with a variety of options. I’m a fan of the buckwheat coffee cake. I’ve tried a bit of everything and it was all great.
