Company annual dinner event 2019, Lunar New Year themed catered by Fat's Banquet Hall. Old Sac parking available at the city garages (reserve) or street meters. Special parking rates due to event at Golden 1 Center. The venue was setup for a photobooth area in the corner by the window facing Front Street. Food was buffet style hors d'oeuvres 5:30-9:00pm. Menu: Vegetable spring rolls Chicken pot stickers with chili vinegar Fresh fruit display Stir fried vegetables Garlic green beans Vegetable chow mein (gluten free rice noodles) Orange chicken over steamed rice Mongolian beef over steamed rice Assorted Asian desserts/snacks not provided by Fat's, missed out on that famous banana cream pie! Water and coffee, drink tickets at the bar toward wine, beer, or soda (1/2 ticket for soda). Entertainment included a live Guzheng Chinese string instrument performer from 5-7pm and a DJ/dancing from 7pm-9pm, and raffle which was all accommodated well. There was downstairs and upstairs table seating, and also booths. Restrooms downstairs from the lower seating level. Decorations fit the theme and the night went very smoothly.
