Pizza was great, a bit on the chewy side, but was still really good. The atmosphere was spot on, real chill vibes. A place where you can come, relax, eat a pizza and drink some beer. Overall, great experience.

Great Dough , little burnt from one side still great , fresh tomatoes tastes great , I really liked some of the seating places which consisted of very comfortable couches and a real log of wood as the table , they even have a barrel table .

Went with a group this evening shortly before closing and ordered a few pizzas. As the cashier was sending back the orders, a worker from the kitchen came to the counter saying “the kitchen is now closed.” We asked if the orders we had already placed could still be made, and she was greatly embarrassed that she had to cancel and refund the transactions.
I understand wanting to go home at the end of the night, but not only did the kitchen staff decide to close up early, they made their co-worker up front look foolish by not telling her they were leaving in advance and to stop taking orders.
We went to Marilyn’s instead and had some great pizza. I doubt we’ll try this place again.
Super awesome place place for pizza and beer. Lots of pizza choices and beer samples!

We had the Margherita pizza with vegan cheese and it was very yummy. You can see them cooking the pizzas in the wood-fired oven. I would return here, but it is very warm on a hot summers day because all seating is open to the outdoors.
Came here cos pieces was “closed til sundown”. What a come up.
This pizza rules. The sauce 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Kinda long wait, but great atmosphere so it flew by.
I absolutely love Federalist. The pizza is solid, they have great vegan appetizers, and it's a wonderful outdoor, chill atmosphere. Great place to go with a group of friends and maybe even play board games. HOWEVER, their BEST option on their menu, the calzone sandwich, was removed and I am very sad about this😡It was my favorite thing on their menu.
I used to come here a lot and it seems like the quality has gone down and the price has gone up. We got a GF pizza and while the crust was good (albeit a bit burnt) the toppings were concentrated in the middle of the pizza and not spread out. We got a sangria to drink and the host pulled a mason jar out of the fridge, unscrewed the lid, and handed it to us. It tasted like cough medicine and didn’t have any fruit in it. So then we got a glass of red wine and it was served in a mason jar and was quite cold. I know it’s mostly a beer place but that’s not the way to drink red wine.
Also the midtown Monday (pep or marg pizza and two beers) used to be $15 which was a crazy deal but now at $30 it’s barely a deal. I’m wondering how a counter-serve, bus-yourself place is charging $25 for a personal pizza but I guess that’s where we’re at.
Anyway, overall kinda disappointing considering it used to be a favorite of mine.
Almost all our pizzas came burnt. The toppings are delicious, but the the crust?
Never going back again.

The vegetarian chorizo pizza is amazing!!! The beer selection is great. And the atmosphere is wonderful!!! Love this place and can’t wait to go back
Great food!!!Good Beer!!!Very low key!!!
Don't pay the automatic service fee when checking out... Federalist no longer has any type of table service, it's DIY. That means it's also BYOOM, or bring your own oven mitt, I kid you not. Your pizza will be waiting for you at the kitchen window on a sizzling hot metal plate and you somehow have to pick this up with bare hands and get it back to your table?? Then, there is a sign that asks you to bus your own table. The decor is solidly shabby without the chic. It's really gone downhill except for the pizza and cold local beer on tap, which is very good.
I ordered the chile verde pizza. It was amazing and very delicious. The atmosphere is very calm and inviting.
Very chill and welcoming place. I liked the vibes.
