Ordered food in restaurant. Assuming my food would be fresh to order. Not the case. Instead I got cold garlic noodles that were stuck together and old. Hard like they'd been sitting since yesterday.

Unfortunately, we gave this a try for the second time and the customer service was just horrible. It's sad too because the food isn't bad and it's nice to be able to walk to places near by our home. We just won't go again because to be treated the way we've been treated is not worth it.

My friend and I came to Fire Wings to lift our spirits after another disappointing Kings loss. The service was fine and the food came out swiftly. The ambiance was casual and had modern Pop playing on the radio. Their Thai chili boneless wings were decent but the wings were a bit too saucy. The lemon pepper wings were good but a bit salty. We ordered seasoned fries but we received the bottom leftover fries if you know what I mean (majority were small, overcooked crumbs). The buffalo wings were okay-- some pieces were dry and only the bottom wings were drenched in the sauce. The upside is if you're looking for a quick bite to eat at night, this Fire Wings is open til 2am.

This is my second time ordering DD from the Midtown location and I am disappointed once again. I love Fire Wings but the Midtown location is slacking. Both times my fries have showed up cold and soggy with a weird taste. Another review mentioned that they probably don't change their oil. I'm assuming that's why my fries tasted weird. The wings have also shown up cold both times with hardly any sauce. If you want good wings make the drive to Delta Shores. It's worth it.

If I could give a bajillion stars I would. The staff here are so wonderful and kind and the food NEVER MISSES. I have come when it’s packed and I still get the most delicious crispy chicken and wonderful service and I have ordered on a random Tuesday afternoon it’s always consistent. They work with dietary needs the best they can as well which I appreciate greatly. This place is so underrated it’s definitely a top wing spot in Sac!!!Dietary restrictions: Certain sauces are made with butter but call them and ask what isn’t. I know for sure the Korean kick, mango habanero, and lemon pepper aren’t.

Just ordered from here and the fries had a horrible after taste. Neither wings or fries tasted like they were made today....more like reheated.

Worst restaurant for delivery drivers. Last 5 times when i arrived they've told me order has 15 min waiting time. You making us lose money and when we unassing order, it affects our rating.

I lived one block away when this location opened. And at first the food was OK. The service has always been questionable, but it seems to have gotten worse. It was bad enough that I would drive to Center Parkway when we wanted wings even though it was a 10 minute walk… Recently I wanted to try them again but watching someone else pick up their food when I came in made me change my mind. Seems like they treat everyone like they are somehow plotting to defraud the restaurant… then I saw the reviews with the hairs I’m good… center parkway it is

The food wasn’t the best I’ve had for a Fire Wings, but they were decent. It was late night, so the atmosphere was I’m sure not what it usually is since this location has a bar area. Still recommend if you need late late night eats!Parking: This is a downtown location so parking is annoying.

Yummy selection of wings and sauce. Came late after a concert. The staff was friendly and the wings came out fast! Nice high top tables and bar seating. Definitely recommend.

This review is for take-out/pick up from the Midtown Fire Wings. I'll start off my saying that Fire Wings is probably more of a dine-in experience if you want the best experience. That may have been our first mistake, but you'd think wings and fries would make a short 10 minute drive in to-go containers ok and still be delicious. We ordered 40 wings (20 buffalo and 20 curry for $46) along with a five piece chicken tenders ($10.50), large fry ($3.90) and large tater tots ($5.10) along with some extra dips ($.50/each). The ordering went through DoorDash and my husband picked it up himself at the designated time and brought it straight home. Pick up was easy and he was back home in a flash. I was super hungry after working all day and at that point I wanted to eat anything and everything so I went straight for the tater tots and was immediately disappointed. They weren't crispy or soggy or even hot... it was almost like they were just a bit undercooked and under seasoned. A bit of a cardboard consistency is the best way I can explain it. Just slightly warm and underwhelming. Luckily I had honey mustard to dip them in but they were not what I expected from tater tots. The fries were ordered plain and were slightly more crispy but definitely needed dip or seasoning because they were plain, plain. This is a preference, but we ordered 40 wings and 38/40 were drums. Some people like the drums the best, but I prefer flats. I'll still eat drums but I was surprised that there wasn't more of a 50/50 mix or even 30/70 mix of both. The Buffalo wings were fine and not overly sauced, so they weren't soggy after the drive home. The Curry wings are typically my favorite, but seemed under seasoned this visit. I'm used to being hit in the tastebuds with the delicious curry seasoning flavor they use and this was more like a light sprinkle. The chicken tenders were also fine, they had a nice crispy breading on them but were average and a bit on the smaller side. This was the first time I ever tried Fire Wings as take out, so I'm wondering if it was an off night, if they're not a good take out food or if this location just isn't up to the other experiences I've had at different locations. In the end, we were fed and we received what we ordered, even if it was a bit underwhelming.

Always my go to for wings. Great variety of flavors and it’s not just wings. Sandwiches, salads, and a decent menu.
