Only thing this place has going for it is Jose Zaragoza. Service is horrible they up charge in the chips pico de gallo as if there in Folsom. They don’t refill your chips just keep bringing there low end salsa with no chips. Then say they don’t charge for refills on your drinks but refill then charge you. Mariachi was great but they end up charging you more to compensate. They missed the mark on the service. You should take care of the ones who are coming and spending over 500$ on a Sunday cause we are the ones that keep your doors open.

I picked up dinner from here for the first, and likely last, time tonight. Though it looks like the reviews for eating in are much better. Cilantro rice was slightly undercooked, a little crunchy, and the refried beans were the consistency of soup. Quesadilla, enchilada and chile relleno didn’t have much flavor. The flan was a huge portion but also kinda boring tastewise. Overall pretty disappointing.

Had the happy hour nachos and a Pacifico. The carnitas nachos were good, about a third if the size of a regular plate. I am a senior so that a full meal for me. If you are 200+ pounds it will probably be just a snack.

The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. The chips and salsa are bomb and they are free. Love seeing the mariachi on Sundays. The drinks are also on point.

The real deal! The enchiladas with mole were supremely flavorful; reminded me of Indian food.

DO NOT EAT HERE! This is what the size of their bean and cheese burrito dinner looks like for $13.99. Now I understand why the restaurant came out with a new variety of different drinks and put more work into restaurant; it because the food sucks!
If you want a better looking size of burrito with rice and beans that’s worth your money, go to Tres Hermana’s in midtown or Homeros on Rush River. It might be far but it’s WORTH the drive. Also that girl that answers the phone for the restaurant needs to go back to school, because she obviously can’t read the words what’s on the menu!
