I had to have a very serious spinal operation at Sutter Medical that required us to have an 11 day stay. I cannot thank the staff enough for their compassion and kindness. They genuinely wanted to make sure that my room was clean and I had everything that I needed. It meant the world to me. The front desk staff and housekeeping went above and beyond! Plus, the food at the restaurant was top notch!
We checked in but with the wrong day. The clerk said, “no problem, it happens. Let me find you you a room , have a seat.” We told her we’d be at the bar. She found us and gave us room keys. The waitress at the bar was perfect. We chatted and she found out we were celebrating a birthday and she recommended the flagship restaurants and we chose one based on her enthusiastic recommendations. Is everyone treated this way? Absolutely!
I travel for basketball every weekend & this has been one of the nicest hotels I stayed in

The restaurant, serving the full Bernardo Cafe menu, features a great wine selection and a vacation vibe. The hotel's proximity to Sutter Hospital is convenient, yet guests can expect a peaceful and quiet stay with a rock fire pit in the back.
