We enjoyed coming here for a few reasons. One it’s in a great location of Midtown and it’s walkable restaurants.
Secondly, when you come in it has a vacation vibe, even with being down the street from a hospital, it doesn’t feel like it’s by one.
And of course the food and cocktails are delicious.
Jesse and Brenda have created an amazing sazerac for my husband and we indulged on the salmon burger which was definitely a great choice!

I recently celebrated my RN pinning ceremony at the Four Palms at the Fort Sutter Hotel, and it was absolutely perfect! A few family and friends joined me for a celebratory toast, and the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. Huge shoutout to bartender Lindsey, who went above and beyond with her kindness, generosity, and incredible hospitality, she truly made the night unforgettable. Alexa was also amazing. Guest services were wonderful as well! Thank you Julian, for being so helpful and kind. My room was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend the Fort Sutter and the Four Palms!

Comfortable casual spot for a drink. Staff was friendly.

Fried cauliflower with aioli excellent. House made bean burger good, light on seasoning, but fries great, maybe needs more ketchup in the little cup. Drinks wet and tasty.

Rock fire pit in the back and clean bathroom. Hotel art better than usual.

A friend and I went to Cafe Bernardo for breakfast, but they were full, so an employee offered us to go seat in the hotel bar area. We accepted and sat at the bar. Chris was amazing! He made some great drink and food recommendations. We had thought he had been working there for years, but has only been there for about a month. Despite the restaurant being very busy our food came out very quickly with all the correct modifications. We will definitely be back to see Chris and for the food.

I came here during the week for some drinks. I sat at the bar, and even though no one else was sitting there, it took a while for the bartender to acknowledge me. It wasn't until 3 other people sat down that he said anything to me (yet talked to them first). 2 out of the 3 drinks I received were filled with too much ice. The other 1 was just a tiny drink. 1 drink had red things (seeds maybe) sitting at the bottom of it. When I asked him about it, he said it was because of the mint, but that didn't make sense to me. He should have just remade the drink. The drinks tasted fine, but they were nothing to rave about.

I would recommend for the staff to ease up on the ice for the drinks.

I had to have a very serious spinal operation at Sutter Medical that required us to have an 11 day stay. I cannot thank the staff enough for their compassion and kindness. They genuinely wanted to make sure that my room was clean and I had everything that I needed. It meant the world to me. The front desk staff and housekeeping went above and beyond! Plus, the food at the restaurant was top notch!

Upon staying at the Fort Sutter Hotel, the team and Four Palms were exceptionally welcoming, engaging and helpful with recommendations. Khari, Makayla and Ness went the extra mile! Four Palms offers the full Bernardo Cafe menu and ensured NBA games were on and the music playlist fit their vibe. Great wine selection, too.

The Fort Sutter Hotel was chosen by a bridal couple for a block of rooms for wedding guests. We thought it was selected primarily for the location. What we discovered was a Hotel staffed by efficient and friendly smiling faces ready to assist us in any way. And the food and drinks in Cafe Bernardo and the bar were the BEST! We chose to eat most meals there due to tge quality of the food...truly exceptional. Thank you, Fort Sutter, for a wonderful stay.
